  • @Vugam yeah!

  • @Vugam jaja debo ir cuando tu no comes?

  • Nothing is underrated about Reni's drumming, Anyone that knows anything knows that he was one of the best drummers in the world at this time. Just pure class. The Who wanted him to drum for them at one point, enough said!! A real shame his career was relatively short.

  • yer to dumb baby u cant see the wood 4 the trees!

  • gave rise to fake manc accents.....nothing that big.....in a decade of people wnting a stamp.......how long did it last?....as long as that pill u swalowd

  • Ahhhh - takes me right back to my youth - Hope my kids will have similar experience to what we did. Freedom to Party!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Reni is a very underrated drummer. He was a monster with the Roses. Solid, groovy with a knack for using space and polyrhythmically inclined.

  • its always intriguing when an iconic music moment from the last 20 years didn't get recorded by someone. And a testament to Stone Roses and the biggest gig since the 60's that everyone was too fucked to even know what a camcorder was, let alone have one handy.

  • Reni is the best drummer

  • @Johnnyo743 ha ha i hope ya right .

  • I think, when i look back on this day, i never realised the input this gig would have, it was a great time for music, every one was there for the same thing, most of us dressed the same, in our kickers, lol it wasent brill live, but it was a f****** ace day out. i cant remember how i got home,, but these were great times, theres been nothing since, this buzz, god id do it all again

  • @ABITTERSWEETGIRL agreed it was a special place in time but oasis at knebworth/loch lomond had the same feeling, they wernt only gigs (with shit sound) they were the gathering of a generation.....same feeling, equally great music, only 6 years later

  • @TR1PACE5 , yes agree, i was at knebworth, also the verve haigh hall gigs,, never bettered, gigs i wont forget, i dont think that genre will be repeated.. but , its always gonna be there, people went to spike island on the anniversary, in may.. good times..

  • @ABITTERSWEETGIRL well said, when i read your reply there i got goosebumps just thinkin about it

  • @TR1PACE5 was at loch lomond on the sunday , best gig i've been to 96 what a year ,

  • @farman10122 was at loch lomond and knebworth, knebworth had a lot o similarities to spike island, shit sound, not a great gig but the gathering of a generation was what it was about....like loch lomond it was like ther own woodstock with some of the best bands of britpop there, you never forget these days

  • Never heard this before. Like the Roses on the wind. Worth it just to hear Reni at work on a groove again. I always thought he was one of the best dudes I ever heard on the kick-drum side of things. Bad sound on this but his kick-drum is crystal. Try practise along to that all you so-called drummers out there!

  • @jakeenan THATS THE TUNE EH!!!!!!

  • What'ya gonna do with the rest of your life

Penny for the thoughts behind your disguise

makes me want to cry.... prophets

  • I was also at Spike Island and they were epic live

  • i was at spike island........and only the weed and cali sunshines made it worthwhile.....the roses were wank live..........ffs go see ian brown live.....hes honed his craft now

  • @slappedcheek

    Geez

did you see Brown at Glastonbury a few years back? First time( ithink) he played Roses songs live since whenever. Came on after The La's. Was total :)
