YES this is a remake of A Bittersweet Life (Kim Jee-woon). That movie was amazing, but this is just ridiculously "silly."

@shadowpal2 It appeals to the audience I suppose. Indian audience is so insular they've no idea about what's going on outside it seems. Everywhere else people prefer original.  Especially when it's far superior than the remake.

@Xentradi97 I am perhaps one of the gifted few who have watched and seen Bitter Sweet Life a great movie by far. So much so I did not watch this remake. If you are Indian or South Asian whatever and have access to TV, DVD and a power point there are many who have seen the original. Many more would have seen this remake at cinema and more over korean culture let alone movies are yet to make it big in the South Asian continent a real shame because korean films in my opinion are well scripted.
