Sound is still better in forza graphics are still better in GT, you pick what you like.. I have both, i loved forza 3 but forza 4 seems abit lifeless to me, maybe because of the new campaign layout and the fact that its easy as hell

Man I used to love gran turismo but some stuff is very stupid. Sound still sucks. Need for speed underground 2 (8 year old game on ps2) is more accurate. Forza is more accurate as well. The only thing that's good is the graphics and driving mechanics and even those are very complicated for pick up and play.

Nice video. Thanks for showing the update. But I tried to update and it took forever. There are two loading bars. The top one took like 20 minutes to get to 17% while the bottom one only got up to 7%. To the right it said 1/12. And then an error occurred. How long does the 2.0 update take? I need an exact answer!!!!!!!!!

@THAREALDAN Yeah, your connection speed makes the difference. I did the same thing, with the "1 of 12 updates". I'm pushing 6meg service, and It still took a little while for it to complete. For an exact answer, I'd say around 1 hour total. If you're getting an error, my guess is your internet connection is timing out during the process. Make sure you're not doing anything else online when you're waiting on these updates to finish.

I don't know about other cars, but the "above driver" view on the F2007, added wind sounds. And I think it sounds really nice. Sounds like they really strapped a camera and mic on top of an F1.

When it comes to the sound of the cars PD is recording the real cars but I guess its the equipment and placement of the mics near the exhaust that gives us the odd sound. I remember seeing a behind the scenes vid and they have mics all over so it has to be where they put it.

@stryker1999 Seen Ferrari Academy yet? You'll get the same level of difference in basic decibel-levels. High end cars do tend to be a bit of a racket you know.. Compared to the tin kettle whistling that defines "supercar" in GT5, the actual sounds fall a lot closer to a "racket" in Forza -- distorted, due to compression. 'Race' yours all u like, won't improve the sights & sounds.
