According to the radio, they had no intent to save the hostages. The main purpose of the polices were to destory all evidences and kill the gunman coz the gunman knew everything and not wanting him tell the true behind.

The aftermath is quite a joke as well. They have done many things to disrespect the dead, and that is not what educated people should do.
