I'm a Democrat and an Obama supporter. But this is no slapdown. In general, I like Lindsey Graham bettter than Barbara Boxer. Having said that, the size of a bill should be commensurate with the complexity of the issue. If the goal is to craft a plan to reform something as complex as Health Care or Financial Reform, better that it should aim to address all contingencies. The jury's still out on Obamacare. But at least he tried to make health care affordable to more people.

Also, while it is true Democrats controlled Congress when the meltdown began, the meltdown was a result of a bubble bursting from deregulatory policies that had been put into place earlier when Republicans were in control. Just thought I'd put that out there.
