But . . . I've never been me, so I'm not sure who exactly that is. My identity has always conformed to the expectations of others, so it hasn't had the freedom to develop. But yeah, I'm sure it will unfold naturally now that I'm going to give it the opportunity to do so :)

Oh, and we need to start talking more often again . . .

Oh my gosh, this was excellent -- and a subject that is so seldom touched upon. It's only natural to wonder (wow, did I!), but in the end it's something that happens naturally, if you let it (you seem very open to the possibilities). I have a predominant look (classic casual, sort of...?), but that can change with circumstances (I just mowed the lawn -- certainly not glamourous!). I won't make suggestions, but I see great things in your future & look forward to your evolution. Christina

Hey, I was blonde once, too! There's nothing really wrong with it (well, nothing *very* wrong with it), but I just don't think it suits me at all now. In fact, I think I look kinda ridiculous as a blonde.

This kind of thing has been on my mind as well. What kind of guy will I be? Will I end up being a longhair? Will I be preppy? Will I be (gasp!) effeminate? It's all a big mindf*ck and it can keep you awake at night. That's why I'm trying to go to bed earlier. lol.

Yeah, this is all riddled with questions. After so many years of trying to fill a role for others, it's strange to finally try to figure out who *I* want to be.

Oh, and going to bed earlier is a good idea. I should try that ;)
