The Lord asked me to kneel and worship Him, so I did, as I got back up off the floor after worshipping I was completely healed, no more pain.!! My dad doesn't believe in God, I used to always ask God to do something amazing to show dad that he's real, but so far nothing. I'll admit, I do believe in God, but I don't go to church. I don't see a problem with it, I don't think you need to be in a church to worship God. I pray every once in a while, I've even asked to send a sign that my Uncle is okay (he passed away in '06) but I never seem to see anything. Am I doing something wrong, or am I just...looking too hard for a sign?

Well that's one of the problems, I don't think we even have a Bible. My mom believes in God too, but since we don't go to church I guess she never saw a reason for one. If you ask someone who fully relies on God then they might tell you to go to church every sunday, pray every night, and read the bible daily. It's funny. I read the bible, I grew up in church, I've heard many sermons and nowhere in the bible have I ever found that you have to be roman catholic to receive miracles. To be honest i prayed to god and went to mass all my life and belivied so much in god until i was 12 ( im 15 now ) when i watched as my dad died before me and thats not something a kid should see i just lost faith and when he died and i just kept to myself after it until like a year ago but now it seems my whole world is collapsing around me and there is nothing left to feel happy about and suicidel thoughts run through my mind everyday..i just dont see why i should love god when he dont love me

My dad doesn't believe in God, I used to always ask God to do something amazing to show dad that he's real, but so far nothing. I'll admit, I do believe in God, but I don't go to church. I don't see a problem with it, I don't think you need to be in a church to worship God. I pray every once in a while, I've even asked to send a sign that my Uncle is okay (he passed away in '06) but I never seem to see anything. Am I doing something wrong, or am I just...looking too hard for a sign?

In order for us to hear God is if we repent of our sins & ask God in your heart. Read the Bible daily to know how we should live. Pray & seek Him daily & He will speak to you not audibly but in ways you know it is Him.

Well that's one of the problems, I don't think we even have a Bible. My mom believes in God too, but since we don't go to church I guess she never saw a reason for one. Also there are a few things that a Priest or a Catholic will say that I don't agree with. I don't want to be harshly judged because I don't agree with every single thing that the Bible or a Catholic says.

If you have ever read a Holy Bible not a Catholic Bible you will know the reason why we need to change. As you view all around us & how much we lack God in our lives, there is so much chaos, violence & death. God provided His one & only son to die for our sins so that we may live. But the question is do you want to do what is right. Dont make any negative statements from reading a verse or two from the Bible. Start with the Book of Matthew. (Part 2).

This all depends on who you're asking. If you ask an atheist then obviously they'll say something repugnant. If you ask someone who fully relies on God then they might tell you to go to church every sunday, pray every night, and read the bible daily. If you ask someone who is somewhat like you then they might say just keep on waiting and maybe somewhere out of the blue you'll get a sign. But if you ask me, I'd tell you to let nature do it's thang and pray from the bottom of your heart.

This also happened to me on the pier while out fishing and praying. My spirit was lifted above myself 20 or so feet in the air and could have went the rest of the way. But was set back on me 3 feet above me for 12 to 14 hours. I wrote a poem about it and painted a painting about the whole event. "Walking 3 feet off the ground," the poem is read here on youtube. To be honest i prayed to god and went to mass all my life and belivied so much in god until i was 12 ( im 15 now ) when i watched as my dad died before me and thats not something a kid should see i just lost faith and when he died and i just kept to myself after it until like a year ago but now it seems my whole world is collapsing around me and there is nothing left to feel happy about and suicidel thoughts run through my mind everyday..i just dont see why i should love god when he dont love me

I felt the same as you although I have suicidal thoughts, but when I started to attempt, someone tap my back and lift me to sit upright and I know no one was there but God who had warm hands. There isn't one shred of evidence that people are able to predict the future? If not, that's rather sad that a school would show you such a video without presenting it as a fraud or misconception. Some video you watched in '99 isn't evidence of anything. 1- i challenge you to find that I "claim" for any of the things I said to be "holy stuff." I don't even think I mentioned excorcisms- i think the other guy mentioned it briefly. I was having a conversation with an athesist and used several examples of unexplainable super natural phenomenon that had been documented- if he can't prove that those things did not happen- he certainly can't prove that God does not exist. I have to use different illustrations. You use the bible and you lose them.

That's a major problem with society currently and historically: people DON'T doubt what they're told. You're just as bad as those in this video. "Supernatural" experiences, such as claiming to have seen ghosts, have been thoroughly explained psychologically. Take a moment to think. Why does every reported ghost happen to be wearing clothes? What could more clearly illustrate to us that such sightings are solely a product of the human mind?
