Oh do they? As far as I know, most foreign people only know the story on how Indonesia invaded West Papua. Indonesia did NOT invaded West Papua. Indonesia was trying to free West Papua from Dutch control.
And about the invasion. It's not an act of invasion at all. We only attacked the Dutch separatists, not West Papuan people. West Papua was originally Indonesian territory, and the people of West Papua accepted it as well.

I'm Indonesian, but more proud to be called a Javanese. i feel proud of my heritance, the same feeling that you have about your pride of being west papuan/Melanesian.
What i want to say is, i will be angry too if some xyz government stealing away the nature resource in my land and treat my family badly like some tyrant.
So i can imagine how you feel and i want you to know that you have my support and sympathy.
