  • I first Tenchi on PBS. Then many moons later it was on Toonami. Awesome!

  • Who wants peace? Your living with 6 women. Just about every mans dream.

  • You know what really pisses me off? I can't for the life of me find a comprehensive DVD release of Muyo, Universe, or In Tokyo.

  • It's funny...the promo is for tenchi muyo but at 0:43 is a scene from Tenchi Universe and at 0:57 is a line from Tenchi in tokyo XD

  • Ah, I remember...The summer before middle school, and I was so psyched about this and Sailor Moon S. Oh, those happy days...

  • I will make no apologies for wanting to bang all the cartoon women in this show

  • bull crap the old toonami line up way better then all that you listed and all of the above those are just kids show meant to intertane the grade schoolers toonami was show that had drama romance death loss sorrow and and kinds of shit all in one line up so screw the new thunder cats ben10 and all the other crap that CN calls good programming

    FVCK!!!!

  • @hyperpepper I own the show, at age 23, and I'm a US Sailor / Boxer/ Alcoholic / Gambler! But I will NEVER give up what I enjoyed as a kid! Now that I see all the hidden undertones of the show, I can appreciate it much more. Like Cowboy Bebop. Loved it as a kid, and now that I get the adult situations, I can love it as an adult.

  • Toonami was just like an Old girlfriend or a 1 night stand.* Lols.

    It's gone:)

  • That had scenes from all 3 tenchi series . Nostalgia ho!

  • Anyone else thinks the narrator sounds like optimus prime?

  • @Earthquake2009 The narrator IS Optimus Prime. It's Peter Cullen.

  • @Earthquake2009 It is the guy that does optimus prime's voice

  • Yeah, it sucks that Toonami was run into the ground and eliminated from the spotlight. At least we still have Adult Swim (and the internet!) that airs some of the anime shows we all grew up with.

  • For me, "Tenchi in Tokyo" is my second favorite incarnation of the Tenchi series, after the OAVs.

For most people, it's the "Batman Forever" of the Tenchi series; you'll either love it or hate it.

  • @JimHawkwind03411 - Tenchi in Tokyo is seriously underrated. My favorite is Tenchi Universe, but I think they're all masterpieces and should be judged the same.

  • @zevex747 agreed. and not to mention they were so funny!

  • i miss Tenchi

  • I have spent years trying to find out what this show was. This was my first anime I have ever seen and I fell completely in love with it!! Not to mention I might have had a miniscule crush on Tenchi (-_-) If only Toonami was still around today...

  • oh.my..god.this is so old! my 13 birth day! was that day! 8D haaaa

  • If I knew at the time, that Toonami was as good as it was gonna get; I would've fapped to this show harder.

  • Besides the lack of proper network presentation of shows, and mainstream society brainwashing us into thinking that as long as "those shows still come on", and we can digitally download every single stinking thing off the internet, what else do you all think killed the renaisance that was animated networks (from 1990-2005)?

  • VHS quality FTW miss the 90's - 2000

  • Good times! Good Times Man!

Made me laugh so much and was so interesting and loved it when I was young!

  • OMG I LOVED THIS Show it was just great like even my sister who does not like anime loves it its just that awesome

  • I agree that Toonami was eopic and I fell in love with this show from the moment I first watched it. there was something about it that grabbed me. Nowadays television with these really LAME sur-reality T.V. programs stinks. In my opinion it's way overdue time for "An ANime Revolution" in the T.V. and Movie industry. I'd love to help lead the charge because I've got a whole bunch of sci-fi and fantasy stories I'd like to seen drawn as anime.

  • toonamiaftermath a website dedicated to toonami. go there now and be amazed!!

  • dragon ball and dragon ball z, tenchi muyo, igpx, yu yu hakasho, inuyasha, outlaw star, all great shows, nowadays its crappy live action tween related sitcoms, and 'reality' tv shows about dumber than an autistic children guido's. what has the present become?? i feel ashamed being american when i watch what nickelodeon cartoon network disney channel and mtv play nowadays. makes me wish i was japanese.

  • I love how they stuffed together clips from each of the 3 series and made it look like one big epic series. At that time, I didn't know there was a "Muyo", "Universe", and "In Tokyo". The first form of Tenchi I ever saw on television was the 1st movie back when Sci-Fi first showed anime on Saturday mornings.

  • ahh the golden ages.

  • I'm sure this has been on here before but EVERYONE who misses Toonami and absolutely NEEDS it back should google "Toonami Aftermath".

  • classic

  • im sure if we all put our money together we could start a channel for it, or online channel but its probably just wishful thinking

  • @YJayR Google "Toonami Aftermath" and you will get what you are looking for. You can thank me later

  • jesus christ they need to bring toonami back. i get goosebumps watching these promo's.

  • Ryoko: "TENCHI!" :3

    XDDD

  • along with outlaw star, gundam wing, and dbz, this was one of the top 4 shows ever played on toonami. good shit.

  • @BadSanta8063 oh yeah, thats what ive got the sibs doing. invader zim, dragon ball z, yuyu hakusho, luckily online you can find any anime

  • so tenchi taught us how to be a pimp..hmmm gewd gewd

  • i wish that some totally hot alien babes would crash on my property and want my dick wow i realy do have problems dont i?

  • SOOOOO MUUUUCH NOSTALGIA!!!

  • fuuuuuuuuuck yeah!!

ohmygoshh how i miss this show haha,

dudee i was like 8 or 9 holy when this was on holy poop,

i didint even know this was anime at the time haha i just thought it was drawn better than other shows, this, DGZ, Outlaw star & the rest of toonami.

i dont even like anime now but toonami was the BUSINESS! & these shows

are still rad,kuz i watched them at the time.

im bringin it back haha ;)

  • My grandma thought I was sick in the head when she saw me watching this after school. I didn't care; I watch the anime, rented the OVA's, and even read the manga for years. I think it's high time to start again...

  • @lunareclipse0629 It's required by Maryland State Law to watch all Tenchi episodes by age 14 (and I'm not from Maryland but Tenchi Muyo! strongly resembles that state)

  • @SuperGoldfish1999 Sucks that I was born in Mass.

  • @CalicoVall In Massachusetts it's required to watch all Blue Gender episodes by age 13

  • @lunareclipse0629

Someone watching new crap today is considered "sick in the head" THIS STUFF IS FROM THE GOLDEN 90S!!!!!!!!!AND I'D TRADE TODAY FOR BACK THEN! YA KNOW?

  • Tenchi was a playa,he had all those ladies wanting him.

  • I wish it was July 3rd 2000 right now

  • @Fuzzwuzz09

    Same here.

  • @Fuzzwuzz09 Let's see I've restarted this set of series at least 15 times it's July 3rd 2000 just about every three weeks at my house Tenchi never dies

  • This was the promo that got me into anime. I cannot believe that it has been almost 11 years that I have been a fan of Anime, and I have toonami to thank for getting me into it. Like I say, it only takes one series to get someone into anime, and tenchi muyo on toonami was the one for me.

  • Love stinks.

  • of the three different series i think this one was the best

  • Toonami STILL rules

  • I was re-watching the series itself and I just HAD to hear the commercial....I just had to...

  • youtube(dot)com/watch?v=WJPjeOOJJI8&feature=player_embedded Toonami is back!

  • bring back the real cartoon network!!!!!!

  • toonamiaftermathcom - do it.

  • @Imperfectheart Thank you.

  • I felt so bad for Tenchi, but I didn't feel bad about laughing at his pain!

  • the background voice sounds like optimus prime

  • @wonkaAPPLEBEES

    It is Peter Cullen.

  • I just watched all of Tenchi Muyo OVA edition on Youtube. A lot of these scenes weren't in the OVA edition but some were. Can somebody help me out?

  • @Rogersmith026 Tenchi had like 4 seasons, 2 were completely Ova's, the first was also one too but had one writer. the second, Tenchi Universe and third, No Need for Tenchi were done by multiple studios and like no 2 eps had the same voice actors. I tried like a year and a half ago, your best bet, Wiki would have a episode guide. It's well worth watching through the bad dubs. personally I didn't like Tenchi in Tokyo much but whatever. I still watched it. LONG LIVE TENCHI!

  • Toonami Midnight Run came later! so no matter what you got your Toonami Fix baby!

  • THIS IS IT, THE ULTIMATE WEAPON!! TOONAMI FOREVER

  • How about that shared bathroom time?

  • Damn it would make me so happy for the current kids growing up to turn this on when they get home from school... not the complete garbage that its become on CN and any other channel. Wouldnt it be badass if this was the current line-up for todays date?

    Outlaw Star

    Tenchi Muyo

    Gundam Wing

    DBZ

something like that just for the day time toonami to come back,.. would be so good.

  • 3. lack of EXTREME anime. i know for a fact that extremely violence or excessive use of profanity would pull in a boatload of viewers. the 80's and early 90's are a gold mine for over the top anime. there would be a moral panic among parents, but fuck them, they should learn to be a better parent.

    4. lack of good anime. since 2003, CN and WS have been syndicating shit like Prince of Tennis or Reign.

    5. a lot of people don't like the art style of anime. it's obvious they don't drop acid much.

  • i have some theories on why anime isn't abundant on tv as it was back in the late 90's and early 2000's:

1.animated sitcoms. shows like futurama, KotH, and anything made by Seth McFarlene garner millions of viewers. this is due to the fact that americans are stupid and like to watch the same unfunny shit over and over.

2.lack of exposure in the 90's. if CN opted WS to make anime programing blocks back in the early 90's, then anime would have a bigger impact on american television today.

  • @rumbazz No,the simpsons, futurama, and family guy were around the same time Toonami and all the old anime shows were and there was never any conflict.Toonami was what was holding anime in American popularity and when it was killed(parents thought it was too violent,CEO hated anime)anime faded out of the mainstream. Then all the idiotic reality shows and over exposed celebrity scandels filled in that void with the kids. That's what going on here in America.A cycle of ignorance.I'm emberrassed.

  • @wisewarrior7 Amen to that. Amen to that.....

  • those sitcoms were around the same time, however, it wasn't until 2003 when family guy and futurama got syndicated to AS. this is what really killed anime from ever getting air time.

  • @wisewarrior7 We'll talk, man......We're gonna bring old school back!

  • @jetmaster16 There are others already at work.Others doing what they can to keep the legend alive or maybe bring it back. You can find them through my channel if you're really interested in helping fight the war.See ya space cowboy...

  • @wisewarrior7

Well to parents back then "THEN DON'T LET YOUR KIDS WATCH IT!" I've watched plenty of R rated films like Terminator and Lethal Weapon back then, it didn't bother me : ). And CEO's can suck themselves. I LOVED those anime shows! If it weren't for Toonami and anime I'd never had such a great experience. And I'm inspired to make my own animated sci-fi. It's currently playing in my head right now : ). Whoever hates the classics should be arrested for doing so.

  • @wisewarrior7 Ok, let's face it. Anime at the time was pretty fucking violent. Let's call a spade a spade here. But that's why we loved it. Let's also face the fact that the anime we watched as kids wasn't some big culture inducer as you make it out to be. I'll be the first to argue against reality tv, but I'm not going to say it's anymore mindless than children's anime is. Anime was just as stupid as reality tv, and what children watch in America isn't something to be "embarrassed" about.

  • @jcoltr451 LOL! You OBVIOUSLY either didn't watch Toonami that often as a kid or don't remember it that well. The old anime shows that came on back in the day were more mature and complex than the majority of American shows. You learned honor, maturity, and discipline if you paid attention as a kid.The violence was the lure to pull kids in and hold them there long enough to learn something.Click the Toonami-Don't Fear failure vid ,watch all these promos and compare them to I Carly,Tim and Eric

  • @wisewarrior7 Ok, let's take a step back here. Yes, you're right, the surface values were all there, but have you watched the actual shows lately? They teach you how to be honorable, mature, and disciplined in situations involving space ships and giant robots. Now, I was just as big into toonami as any other kid, and frankly I'm insulted that you're calling me out on that. The point is that the situations the show set up were just as ridiculous as the shows today.

  • @jcoltr451 I've actually paid attention to the shows that kids watch today, because of my niece. And I can honestly say I'm embarrassed. For those networks. I had CN and Noggin growing up. Ex:Noggin used to have Bill Nye the Science guy. My niece watches "Fanboy and chum chum" and "Winx". I am disappointed, to say the least. I was watching science before I knew what it was, she's watching...that. I'm not saying it's all bad, but sheesh. At least there is Phineas and Ferb, it's witty.

  • @jcoltr451 I'm embarrased about how retarded, immature, ignorant, and materialistic this generation of American kids is.The sad fact is most kids pay more attention to the TV than they do their parents so they might as well be watching something intelligent. The shows from the 90's to the early 00's was a huge culture inducer that ripples to this day.If you look you look you can see it.Lame ass Twilight wouldn't exist without the classic Buffy the Vampire Slayer for example.

  • @wisewarrior7 I honestly couldn't agree with you more. While it may have been violent it actually turned me off of fighting and most violence in general. The shows really did have a lot of depth in them if you paid attention or watched enough of it like you said. It was a sad day when they got rid of toonami and now the only thing left of my childhood is Harry Potter and that ends on my 19th birthday so all I can really say is goodbye childhood. I feel bad for the kids of today though...

  • @wisewarrior7 When I watched toonami, I didn't think to myself, "hey, maybe I'll go listen to mozart, or read a book." The point is that T.V. is T.V. so get over it. Books are culture inducers. Not anime. In fact, the japanese are so cultured because of how much they read and practice the arts. NOT because they have anime. That's what I'm talking about. Don't tell me that America is falling behind because, "we're not watching the right kind of T.V." That's one of the dumber things I've heard...

  • @wisewarrior7 couldn't have said it any better bravo bravo

  • @wisewarrior7 It's a shame one of the most sucessful eras in CN history had to end for stupid reasons like that. I'd rather my kids watch some "voilent" anime than run around dressing like gang bangers singing songs about sex and only caring who's the hottest celebrity. =/ Ugh...disgusting.

  • @wisewarrior7 My parents were one of those ignorant people. They didn't see the true message in the shows like DBZ or Inuyasha where friendships and protecting the weak were always clear. It's sad really.

  • @jklos305 Damn.I'm sorry for you.My dad used to watch DBZ with me and my brother and when we lied to our mom when she asked if there was any cussing in the Adult Swim animes we were free and clear.I'll never forget those parts of my childhood.Hell I'm buying them up on DVD now to show to my future kids

  • @wisewarrior7 sure CN was going through some crazy shit and i agree with a lot of what you said but if you ask me i think they're getting back up on their feet. they have a great line-up of shows i haven't seen in a long time right now. shows like; Young Justice, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Adventure Time, Regular Show, The Amazing World of Gumball, Ben 10: Alien Force & Ultimate Alien, Generator Rex... i love all those shows. opinions are opinions though i guess but you get my point.

  • @cerberuscore7 Don't forget about the new Thundercats, a Toonami worthy show

  • @beyrsf i LOVE the new ThunderCats!!! i've been keeping up with it. so awesome. can't believe i forgot to mention that. lol

  • @wisewarrior7 i can't agree more

  • @rumbazz Seth MacFarlane's shows are actually REALLY smart when you pull back the layers. Most of the idiots who laugh at it don't realize that they're the ones the show is making fun of.

  • @jcoltr451 pull back what "layers"? all the messages that McFarlene tries to convey in post-2005 FG are about as subtle as a brick.

  • @rumbazz Do you watch the show at all anymore? The episode Mcstroke was a flawless critique of the American society. And if "subtlety" is what you're looking for, then maybe anime isn't what you should be digging on. Anime is all about taking morals and presenting them in a straight and abrupt manner...

  • @jcoltr451 it's ironic considering McFarlene made an advertisement deal with Burger King to promote his unfunny Cavalcade of Comedy mini series. Let's not forget how Peter Griffin was a spokesperson for Subway to promote their fattest fucking sandwich.

i also find it comical that you pull the most blatant claim out of your ass because you assume i think anime is deeper. no, 95% of all anime are meant to entertain, 5% try to convey a message. watching the eng dub ruins the message of the show.

  • @rumbazz Oh, so what you're saying is that you take issue with who the FOX corporation hires on as producers for their shows? Well that's an issue to be taken up with FOX there my friend, not McFarlane (spell his name right if you're going to dump on him.)

And I was most certainly not pulling a "blatant claim" out of my ass. You were insulting the lack of subtlety in the show, and I was making the statement (with which you agreed by the way) that anime is no better.

  • @jcoltr451 That still doesn't change the fact that he illustrated the King with his signature shit artwork. He still had to allow Fox and Subway use a character in advertisements because its McFarlane's intellectual property since he created the character.

    P.S. McFarlene.

  • @rumbazz You've got no idea how T.V. production works, and frankly I'm getting tired of arguing with you about things you don't understand and listening to your idiotic points. I'm sorry that the world isn't as cut and dry as someone just posting their real views to the T.V. shows they make without some corporate interference, but that's the world we live in. Welcome to planet earth, where the corporations use the shows their writers write to advertise mindless products.

  • @jcoltr451 sorry if i made fun of your precious family guy and its glorious creator. i had no idea you were a cry-baby faggot who would passionately defend the show from anybody who questions its greatness. let's forget that Seth McFarlane is a hypocritical, sellout, faggot who cares about profiting off 5 million dumbasses. while we're at it, let's view family guy as a classy cartoon that's not a soap box for Seth's stereotypical liberal views, and doesn't jump the shark with risque jokes.

  • @rumbazz Possibly the worst comeback comment on the face of the planet... Nothing of what you just said related to the previous argument... Come back when you're ready to back an argument with intellectual statements, rather than "cry-baby faggot."

  • Oh my god... That looks horridly familiar. I WANT TOONAMI BACK

  • I can't belive that the narrator for the toonami promos is Peter Cullen (Orignal Optimus Prime in transformers)

  • Wow, hard to believe that was 10 years ago...

  • @enjitsu47 I know dude that same shit went through my head...damn to think that I'm not a kid anymore

  • @enjitsu47 OSHI- i thought that sounded familiar!

  • @enjitsu47

15-20 years ago when this stuff was made in japan also.

  • Dude I remember being confused as hell watching this as a kid, and loving every moment of it.

  • Love stinks...lol!

  • God, how come you dont make'um like you used to?

  • My childhood... TT_TT

  • @skellytinhood *patpat* I feel your pain. ( TT__TT )

  • Wow, I still remember watching this promo when I was like 6. o.O Gosh, I loved this show, and I loved Toonami too. Why did you have to go? :(

  • TENCHI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 0:50

  • I will say this once its just rumors. Besides I think TOONAMI should rest in peace. We all appreciate what its done by puting a foothold for generations of Anime to America and into our hearts and memories. We just need a SMART Anime license company like FUNimation to license these old series so we can get it from what I learned they got the rights to the old Tenchi Muyo Series just recently. Anime News Network.com. Or a Classic Anime channel with Miku Hatsune as the host, well you get it

  • @AMVGFan That's all fine and dandy (because that's what i'm doing myself is buying the shows themselves) but there's nothing like watching them on TV and creating memories due to promos for the shows.

  • @JebusDaEternal So true its those moments that make me smile because I remember them so clearly once I watch the old Toonami Promos. Hahaha the love stinks part I remember very well and as always Optimus Prime doing the voice for the promos. Heck with such a voice he convinced me to watch Hamtaro! "Toonami presents a story of a rodent with mad skills. Saving the world one hamster at a time." Such memories I dont want to let it go but I just want it so that we can remember the good times, thanks.

  • @AMVGFan I don't think it should just rest in peace. I hope it's legacy ensures a multitude of experiences for those behind us (as in age, ragers) so that they might get to experience some of what we did, and at least appreciate it. I'm all for time changing, but some things should be left alone, and even if it was "ridiculous" to watch fighting robots or people with superpowers, they taught me more than any show nowadays could have. It's all in the presentation, really.

  • "Love Stinks"

    So true, so very true.

  • is it me or did she say lesbo 0:39

  • i looved toonami! xD & imma gurl! lol sailormoon and tenchi muyo are the best!!

  • fuk nothing on cartoon network is remotely watchable now

  • @kaindrg Not so. Adventure Time and Sym-Bionic Titan for example (oh man, Genndy Tartakovsky still has it man...now if only that Samurai Jack movie comes out sometime soon)

  • @ZeldaDD im too old i dont keep up with the old gal anymore

  • @kaindrg Never too old to have fun, man.

  • @ZeldaDD They just got rid of Titan. That show was amazing, and wtf? And Adventure Time is extremely amusing but so random that sometimes even I myself am confused. lol

  • Tenchi Muyo was every 90's kids dream hero... 6 Women that had the hots for Tenchi, powers, and all action!!

  • Clasic harem!!

Stuff like Tenchi Muyo, Ranma 1/2, Urusei Yatsura, and so many more!

  • @queenado I watched the promo I was like why is this so popular. Then I saw the harem. Now it all makes sense!!! I was laughing to myself this is the first time I actually see a harem that's on TV

  • man i wished they made tenchi muyo universe into a longer zero, it should of had like 100 episodes or more

  • OMFG.... the part in the beginning Da Dun Dun Dunnn that sound just sent chills down my spine..... MAN I MISS THIS SHIT!

  • "Everyone calm down"

  • @ classictoons so does that mean toonami is not coming to cn anymore? Cuz if it isn't it's bullshit!

  • Does anyone know where I can actually buy a reasonable priced set for Tenchi?

  • Ah the anime that got me through the first couple years of puberty. Classic harem anime... good times...

  • almost brings a tear to my eyes when i watch this

  • 1:02 I SMELL RAEP

  • I saw the comments about toonami coming back and i gotta say: If it does come back then i really hope it has the old classic animes rather than the new crap animes and cartoons out now T.T

  • this is how you introduce a show.

hell this trailer was better than some current movie trailers

  • Is that...

    PETER CULLEN!??!

    ^_^

  • @br0kenbutt3rfly23

yes he . he did the voice for most of the toonami promos.

  • 1:33 :D! My fave part of the promo xD

  • Like many westerners, Toonami was the show that really introduced me to anime. I had seen bits of random anime late at night on sci-fi but, Toonami was the first time I had the chance to really follow a series. It's such a shame it had to end but then hey, I have the internet now. It's the latest generation of kids who have to put up with the crap that Cartoon Network puts out these days that I feel sorry for!

  • Toonami's not coming back. Whatever rumors you heard are false. Deal with it and move on.

  • @Starwind18020 your right but just listen to this "if" scenario (no ppl toonami aint coming back so dont get excited) "if" toonami does come bak whats it suposed to air? by now theyv surley lost the broadcastng rights to air the old animes just like adult swim and futurama 2 or 3 yrs ago..and all of the employees and minds behind toonami have most likely left cartoonnetwork all together. This brings me back to the question what are they supposed 2 air? ben-10? generation rex? flapjak?lets b real

  • ps.guys watch this old toonami promo from 00 or '01 type in "ONE BIG ASS Big-O Toonami Promo" it will make you conjure up forgotten memories ...trust me.

  • guys i knoe all of us 80's and original 90's kids want toonami bak..but the reality is that if they do bring it back their only going to fuck it up with wack shows because by now they lost all the rights to the anime shows from the 90s and early 00s...i like to remember toonami the way it was and as much as i hate to admit it..if thats whats going to happen(wack toonami shows like '04-'07) then i DONT WANT IT BACK...id rather it be dead

    (1993 BABIES STAND UPP)

  • Oh my god.. 10 years ago..I was only 11. Just turned 11 actually, my birthday was the July 1st. It's amazing how Toonami played such an enormous part of who I am today. I'm at a loss for words..

  • @JayAntoinette wow. If feel the same way. Its all because of toonami that I'm the anime freak that I am now :) I'm 21 and still collecting anime...Man. Toonami, midnight run, the rising sun. I recorded everything. I still have a few of the tapes too!! If only i could turn back the clock for just one day. Crushing Gohan and Duo Maxwell. lol. those were the days!!!!

  • @princessnu15 I'm coming to your house 0.o

  • I miss this show!! T.T

This was the only show that could pull off the extended love triangle thing, and they didn't make tenchi like this little wimpy guy that just gets lucky like Ah, my goddess or shuffle, although shuffle was a good show, it can't even hold a candle up to tenchi muyo, Ah, my goddess can burn in hell it was a complete knock off of tenchi and the guy in the show couldn't even get lucky and he was in college and tenchi was in high school he got all the bitches commin to him XD

  • If Toonami comes back, they would need to have shows like Tenchi, DBZ, and Gundam Wing... I mean those seem to be the types of shows that made everyone love it. I can picture it coming back and showing a bunch of lame, ripoff anime shows.. and that wouldn't solve anything...

I never really got why there was never a channel with a block of the old toonami shows... that would be a gold mine wouldn't it?

  • Wow. OLD. I remember this dude's voice though!

  • Well, its official, I have to watch all these shows that aired from 1998-2005. Again. Ugh, thats gonna take a few months.

But it will be totally worth it. I love my childhood.

  • i forgot i was in da future D:

  • That show made me look at women in a different way lol! RIP Toonami and Old Cartoon Network.

  • Tenchi keeps his pimp hand strong.

  • @PureBlackMetal Nice Godhand reference. (:

  • How the hell did Toonami get away with airiing this show in the middle of the afternoon... Ah the 90s. Good luck getting away with this show now. I remember flipping threw the changes one Friday and landing on Cartoonnetwork/Toonami with 2 of the girls halfnaked in the hotspring talking about Tenchi. It was my first echii experience. RIP TOONAMI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You raised and taught me one week day at a time.

  • i would not be suprise if toonami comes back but as a different name. they did back in 1999 when toonami was call somethings else. i think it was call the space ghost show or something colse to that. any way if it dose come out then it first start on saturday then go back to it orignal time if it a big hit. which of course it will be. i hope it comes out soon. (:

  • I used to watch this every day when I came home from school...ahh, good times. And damn good commercials, too; nobody advertises anime like Peter fuckin' Cullen!

  • This show is what really got me into anime.

  • I DONT NEED THIS KIND OF TROUBLE!!!!!!!

  • I still have the very first toonami broadcast on vhs i want to go watch it

  • DUDE IT STARTED TEN YEARS AGO TODAY!!!!!!!!!! I KNOW WHAT I'M WATCHING TODAY LOL!!!!!!!!

  • great show

  • Everyone Toonami might come back, because Stuart Snyder got fired and he's the one who took off Toonami; also he hated it in general. I don't know, it's a rumor right now. It's supposed to come back on September 20th, 2010, at 6pm and it will be a two hour block. That's all, I know! Congratulations, Tenchi Muyo for being 10 years on Saturday. I wish you were on now, because now kids would shut the fuck up and watch TV or fucking exercise. They are getting fatter, because of CN Real and iCarly ha

  • @ClassicToons really man well glad that guy is fired! thanks for the info I pray that it will be on. that means I have to go back to america on the holidays and look it up.

  • @Kyo1676 yes no problem, he just resigned on himself. I would be delighted if it comes back too. That's cool dude. Toonami will come back, only was it Cartoon Network 's #1 greatest block in the history of the whole entire network, but I think it was the most symbolic, if I do say so myself.

  • @ClassicToons wow are you serious? toonami is gonna come back? where did you hear that form and when?! i'd be so ecstatic if it actually comes back!! i miss it so much! T.T

  • @yuukicross091 Yes, I'm serious, but at the moment, it's just a rumor and nothing more at this moment. It's all around the Internet. Me too, but then, Cartoon Network is gonna put on Toonami and just call it something else. I do too.
