  • THE ECSTASY OF THE FORCE!

  • Can´t... handle... THIS... much Epicness...

  • Ennio Morricone's music can make anything sounds epic.

It takes Star Wars from being already epic, to being so epic my brain can hardly handle it.

  • every hair on my head i feel, my entire body is numb from the chills after watching that!

    excellent!

  • Jutie, Jutie, Jutie....for the over 70 crowd.

  • I remember seeing this movie in the theater when if first came out I was BLOWN AWAY by the opening scene of that huge star destroyer coming across the screen if by chance you ever get the chance to see in on the big screen ........DO IT !!! you'll be glad you did

  • @jonniebakstix that sounds really cool, i wish i would have seen it on the big screen when it came out... good ol fashioned film-making at its finest

  • @jarfilled Yeah, the 3D releases are going to kill the majesty of that opening shot. Like Plinkett says, "The shot is so good, I believe George Lucas had nothing to do with and argued against its inclusion in the film." :)

  • Thank you. So much.

  • Amazing video, really good editing!

  • This is the most epic video I've ever seen on youtube!!

    Stunning work!

  • Brilliant. i hope Lucas gets to see this before they're re-released. Maybe he'll re-learn something.

  • @gareth423 true, one could only hope he could re-capture the glory of his early days

  • BRAVO

  • Fantastic!!!!!

  • this is so epic... it's also super depressing because it reminds me what a steaming pile Star Wars has become.

  • Incredible. Fantastic editing.

  • PERFECTION. BEST THING EVER MADE. move over mona lisa.

  • @sdabestani hahaha...

  • I wonder If williams music could work on the films of Morricone...

  • the final part is EPIC beyond imagination...

  • I tip my hat to you.

  • @Gizmogibbongimp thanks

  • Hey Vader! You know what you are?! You're a dirty sonofa.. WAYAYAYAYAAAAA!

  • @Buuuuuutch hahaha, too good

  • @jarfilled Wahey! Someone clocked it. ;o)

  • how can anyone dislike this video ! AMAZING ! THUMBS UP FROM ME !

  • 2:16 is without a doubt, the most epic part.

  • @kubrox91 thanks, that was the one section i really enjoyed putting together

  • Original mesh up.

    Very nicely edited.

  • The Emperor, Darth Vader, Count Dooku, Darth Maul, and General Grievous all made two youtube accounts and disliked this video.

  • That was sweet.

  • Great job!!!!

  • This is brilliant.

  • Well, I just came...

  • This is INCREDIBLE

  • Bravo!

  • Why his daddy no love him? Why daddy! Why?

  • this is amazing

  • Masterpiece! with capital M

  • You basically made the best sandwich ever and added dogshit to it!

  • ???? WTF!!!! This does not go together.....

  • I cannot watch this enough times.

  • the guy whos obi wan in the orginal trilogy is king charles in the movie "oliver cromwell"

  • @harryhumandalek alec guinness.

  • if there is any sense left in the greedy capitalistic mind of lucas, he should try to produce and only produce part 7,8 and 9 and leave the directing to the guys who made this magic trilogy, notice how nothing of the footage is used in this clip of the crappy new trilogy. Lucas finish what you started in the way you began it, and that means leave the directing and all the rest to able man who understand the true magic of star wars, all you have to do is open your big fat wallet and then go

  • My friends and I still watch and talk about this video all the time. This is seriously one of, if not the greatest videos on youtube. You sir are a genius and we thank you for this amazing video.

  • I like this one as much as I like "Jermsolo's video 'In The Air Tonight Darth Vader'" on youtube! Look for it ! :)

  • Awesome.

  • sitting there just bored and watched this video...

first thought: still shitty selfmade crap...

    watching,... watching....

    holy sh...

    it´s EPIC

  • Bellissimo!!!!

  • I listen to this when I confront my step father!

  • THE best fan made Star Wars video I've ever seen. Hats off to you, my friend.

  • thankk you for the 10 people disliking this video to make the bar look like a joint

  • i love this mix, wish there was a whole movie mix of this it is so much more dramatic, sorry john williams, but that spagetti music is so fitting, awesome job love it.

  • como mola muy buen video ! ;)

  • beautiful

  • 10 crazy people disliked this incredible video

  • JUST WOW

  • how could anyone dislike this? This is a masterpeice

  • Okay this is awesome...you've taken two of my most favorite movies and blended them in a piece of art. Well done!

  • clint eastwood should have been darth vader

luke- "you'll find i'm full of surprises"

    vader- "shut yer fuckin face"

  • If only Ennio Morricone wrote the music to Star Wars, however im not complaining... John Williams wrote some amazing tunes.

  • Star Wars don't need the music of an other movie.

  • Better than diabetes

  • I really enjoyed the ending, "The Jedi, The Sith and the Emperor"! Excellent work!!

  • Brilliant!

  • There are two kinds of mashups in this world my friend, those that suck....and those who Rock........You Rock !

  • @kahunadad cool man, thanks... im glad to see people still like this video, it was fun to put together

  • @jarfilled awesome mix - not a Star Wars fan but what a trailer / promo this would make - love it

  • Well, whatever the reason, whatever the arguments as previously posted here, I know what I like, and I fucking like this. Great job. I'll be watching this a lot and introducing it to a lot of people. The music just GOES, and the editing is film quality.

  • What''s the Joker doing wielding a light saber for?

  • @TheArtofUTube haha.. that's good...

  • @jarfilled you're welcome :)

  • @jarfilled The whole way you edited this is a masterpiece in itself. you should be working in the film industry.

  • Who can't get this?! It's not a trailer...and it's NOT a recap of the entire saga. The Name With No Name was a "gun fighter"....a "loner"....and sorry folks...but ALL of Stars Wars can be summed up right here. Star Wars is about a boy and his father....period! This video captures it in PERFECTION! Nothing needs to be changed here....I could watch this forever. It completely embodies what the saga was truly about. Again...GREAT job! ;)

  • @WarBeer cool man, thanks for the feedback, you've read what was going on inside my mind...

  • OO well done well done!!!!

  • This is just SO friggin' epic! Thank you SO much. FANTASTIC job! I've been coming back to this one forever ;)

  • Awesome! I like both Leone's movies and Star Wars! Great idea to put Morricone's music and Star Wars sabre duels together! Well done, very well, obviously the force has been with you while making this mix ;)

I am surprised to see that 9 poor souls disliked this video. Loosers.

  • @VtochkaGtochka thanks, im glad you liked it.... im lucky people are still finding this video since it was posted a few years ago... it was a lot of fun to put together...

  • This is incredible. THIS is why I love Star Wars expressed on video.

  • words cannot express how much i love this. goosebumps. two of my favourite loves combined. wow.

  • Wow, this is great! You should do the Han Solo video you mentioned in another post.

  • @deathwishtaco yeah, i'd like too, i havent found the time recently to edit any new videos, but this idea is on my list... thanks

  • When this music plays you know shit is about to go down.

  • This is racist.

  • Not a Star Wars fan really but this was really well done :) makes me want to watch the movies =) awesome!

  • This is brilliant! Well done!

  • Great vid. Kinda makes you think about how the jedi were originally peace keepers. After the prequels, though... that's not as obvious.

  • Is it just me or does yoda look like lee van cleef

  • That fits perfect. For anyone who has ever doubted Lucas was essentially making a "space-western" here's your proof.

  • Great job.

  • Love it. Well done. Just finnished the watching the full video. pure class mate. i think thats the first time iv heard music other than john williams that actually goes with star wars..made me want to watch the orignals again :)

  • Love it. Well done.

  • it was a beautiful fusion of one of the greatest movies ever filmed and one of the greatest film compossers to ever live. I had my doubts at first, but this is amazing!!

  • I love this type of creativity, the kind that has remembering what we loved about some original piece brought to life from another person's perspective.

  • I could watch this video over and over and never get bored of it. This is seriously the best home made video on youtube. Well done sir!

  • THANKS.

    vERY GOOD WORK!.. AWESOME

  • 8 people arnt one with the force

  • Great job, is very nice.

  • That's the most epic fan made trailer i could ever see.Great work

  • nicely done... kudos

  • ohh fuck yer now were using the force, now only if the man with no name was in SW

the jedi the sith and the emperour if only it were true

  • ohh fuck yer now were using the force, now only if the man with no name was in SW

  • 8 Dislikes??? Unbelievable, What on earth is there to dislike ? maybe it's me.

  • Great experiment !

  • @SouthPasadena80 thanks, i at the time i had no idea if anybody would like it or even enjoy it... but i figured it was worth a try

  • @jarfilled great vid, all of my kids love it. 2,4,8 and the 6 month old will learn to. They should play this before they open startours

  • Morrifcone to the works of lucas, if only we ever ever had witnessed such magic in our lifetimes, its still not too late as morricone is still alive.

  • i think you might be able to guess that I absolutely loved this

  • @ecstasyofgold888 thanks, i was a big fan of the music and the movies and thought the two might make an interesting collaboration...

  • @jarfilled I showed my friends this, and we are all starwars nuts, and they thought it was really awesome. good work!

  • epic mix

  • The Ecstasy of Gold - Zinedine Zidane

    /watch?v=sKivmD_G7As

  • John Williams is a giant of music, but I'm sorry american friends, Ennio Morricone is Immortal!

  • Oh, and you should do one with Han Solo and Ennio Morricone's "Music Clock." :-)

  • Terrific job. This video shows you know what you're doing editing-wise and that you actually understand what Star Wars is.

  • This is awesome.

  • Use the Force, Tuco...

  • I heard this song again after several years, And I thought about setting it to star wars, thankfully I checked this vid out first, and I am impressed. But It wouldent kill you to have clips from the epic space fights there as well would it? Especially when the music gets intense, No trailer for a western only shows the duels, but also some of the horseback stunts(speeder bikes?) and a gunpowder explosion(deathstar). But it shows how western inspired Star wars was, something Lucas has forgotten.

  • i liked it at the beginning, but no offense it just became too much. It turned into just segments of every single lightsaber duel, and none of the other important characters are to be found.

  • @cowboysfan28 thanks, honest feedback is the best. My goal with this video was to focus only on the story of Luke Skywalker, while showing the various duels in non-linear time, his battles with Vader were timeless, as if they were all happening at once, while using Morricone's music since Lucas had suggested in the past the influence Ennio had on the musical scope he had wanted for his films. So I treated the duels as a Sergio Leone Gunfight. In the future I should do a video just on Han Solo.

  • There's now an other identical post of this video - whats going on?

  • @NorceCodine interesting, do you happen to have a link to this other post?

  • @jarfilled Just type in Ennio Morricone Star Wars. I believe the poster is "Somamester".

  • spaghetti sci fi.

  • @killermod0 well said

  • Great piece of work.

  • great remix to a great movie!!!

  • Damn, "The ecstasy of gold" always give me the chills.

My skin looks like a chicken skin.

  • Que video, que musica!!!!!!!

  • good one !

  • I love it! Star Wars + Morricone = Awesome! Great job man, love the mix.

  • I'm enjoying the imagery to the music, but the dialogue is too fast for the music. Otherwise it could work. Try the Trio by Ennio.

  • @DeathStrikeVirus good call, i had tried to do a version that incorporated both songs, but then that lead me to an idea to use the Trio for a video i was going to do about the pre-quels.... but im not much of fan of those films so i never did it....

    thanks

  • great video man¡¡.. really great

  • bellissimo

    beautiful

i'd love to see star wars scored by ennio

  • This Video is totally amazing man!! Goes perfectly! Love the editing also well done!!!

  • @rob3223 thanks, it was a fun experiment to try... and lots of fun to edit

  • Interesting.

  • fucking fake and not good in any terms

  • Not going to lie, I absolutely love the actual Star Wars soundtrack and think it's perfect, but this is pretty fucking awesome, and would love to see what the movies would be like scored by Morricone.

  • it adds to it a completely different tone now

  • niec video, what is sad how ever is that people actually believe there is a force as in the movie.

any time you try to use such force, that very thing you are trying to control ends up controlling you.

all force is on the dark side

  • perfect

  • it some how works in some way very good

  • rien que pour la musique

  • Ennio's epicness will carry pretty much any video. Paired with Star Wars it's pure genius!

  • Freakin' Amazing!! Holy Crap!!!

  • BRILLIANT !!!

  • simply the best Star Wars tribute ever made :D really gave me chills =) GJ!!!

  • Amazing. Just plain amazing. This is great. i am a huge fan of Star Wars and Ennio Morricone. Wow.

  • great editing to go with the music, could you imagine if morricone had scored these films? He has done most genras of film

  • This

Is the best trailer I've ever seen.

  • BEST. VIDEO. EVER.

  • It just doesn't work... I donno... when I hear this music someone needs to be sweating on screen...

  • @mechoman444

haha, yea... i hear ya on that point

  • @mechoman444

It WORKS AWESOMELY instead! Since two of the main sources Lucas mined for his opus were western and samurai movies (which are into themselves extremely compatible as shown by "Seven Samurai" and "The Magnificen Seven").

  • superior...

  • I want to favourite this twice plz

  • This video gives me chills...well done sir.

You have managed to awesomly combine some of the best moments in film.

  • thanks, my hope was to try and tell the story of luke across all three films in about three minutes...

  • @jarfilled good job of that

  • ha..

good choice on the NETWORK video... i'm also a fan of ned beatty's performance in this film too, he's got a few choice monologues

  • I think I love you. This video is magnificent.

  • This music goes well with the video.

A sci-fi version of the Good, the Bad and the Ugly.

  • well said...
