@lucaso777 on second investigation Yamaha has seen this happen repeatedly and rectified the problem with an upgraded power supply unit. Call Yamaha to get it replaced.

A batteria và meglio, specialmente con single coil, infatti uso eneloop ricaricabili.. il suono comunque è molto valido, spero lo sistemano il problema! @massia68 sul sito del negozio inglese ANDERTONS hanno pubblicato una nota nella quale si dice che a gennaio verra' realizzato un nuovo alimentatore e sara'sostituito gratuitamente a tutti i loro clienti. Per ora sto pendando di alimentarlo con batterie ricaricabili, il suono e' eccezionale, molto meglio del mio precedente microcube

Sì confermo ha un suono molto molto buono e convincente, ti consiglio di prendere le batterie che consigliano loro le Eneloop io le ho e funzionano molto bene!
@macpsonic Ciao, a me ha scritto il negozio dove l'ho acquistato e mi ha confermato che a Gennaio dovrebbe essere distribuito l'alimentatore nuovo, quindi incrociamo le dita!
Yamaha is aware worldwide don't worry ;) to avoid this problem before they send the new power supply plug your power supply and plug your usb cable to your computer and the amp is dead quiet as used with battery (it's fromyamaha) ;) have fun and be patient ! I'm in the same case as u in france, i have the THR10 too
@maniac4141 Hi, whole apartment have proper grounding, in fact my Mesa is working fine altought is with tubes! I'm quite sure there is a power supply matter (switching type), anyhow I've enqired Yamaha Italy, let see their reply then (hopefully)..
been told by the power lead is the problem and yamaha will send out new ones too everyone who has bought one soon ,have found the killer tone on this please try -- modern ,,,gain 9 oclock,,master full on ,,bass full on ,,middle 12 oclock ,,treble off,,and a touch of delay or reverb
have just bought this too and after a day or two this buzz is getting worse ,fantastic tones ,such a shame there is a problem with this ,will have to contact yamaha i think
@pez570 Yes, in fact I have contacted the dealer where I bought it, luckily I use at very low volume so is not that bad, but in any case is not normal for sure.

You can hear that it's a power issue from the noise, it's not a 60cycle hum

HAHA it's a strat they all buzz. You should hear my strat in my marshall. When not playing you have to turn the volume off. :)

It's called single coils for a reason. They attract buzzing. Plug in a humbucker and see.
