  • Good lord! Could of turned out bad...good job on the rescue guys. Jeeps for life!

  • its a jeep thing they didnt understand

  • I would have dug that shit out with a stick if i had to and flattened my tires

  • Being a father and wheeler myself i have to say this pisses me off.

  • just goes to show how stock trucks suck it doesnt matter how new they are no traction control can compare to a lift and some 35s. shitt.

  • I agree with a lot of these comments, and I have rescued my share of clueless people from the snow. The best thing that family can do is sell the “RAAAA! 4x4 goes everywhere” and buy a car. It's not ha ha they got stuck, it's more like oh crap they could have died.

  • better outcome than donner party

  • And also some snow tires...

  • I drive a Colorado but if they should have a winch.

  • Time to buy a car to keep your kids safe and not off road...

    PLAIN & SIMPLE, STUPID PEOPLE!

  • Time to trade the truck for a Jeep.

  • keep candles in your car..energy bars and water. 2 candles can warm cars interior and i dont have to explain the energy bars and water. a few car blankets and extra sweater and hat also helps. keep it in a kit bag all winter in your vehicle and never NEVER leave on anything but a full tank of gas when going into bad winter weather.

  • @kickingfatality I was told a candle only warms a car by about 1 degree per hour, and it uses up your oxygen. Im not positive on this, so correct me if Im wrong. Thanks.

  • Nice work helping but.. y not dig? good shufle and 20 min work and that truck shud be able to go on its own.

  • Nice job guys

  • sheesh, get a locker

  • wow where is this place???

  • Comment removed

  • I guess the only good thing was that the kids probably felt it was a bit of an adventure as nothing too bad happened. By the way, does that pickup not have a central diff lock?

  • I took my two boys mudding a month or so back (Ironically in my Chevy Colorado) and we were having a good time down by the Ohio river, until I realized that the river was way up and actually on the road. So I turned around and called it a night. There is no excuse for putting your family in danger. Luckily these nice people came along and were willing to help.

  • this is why the people that wheel are some of the best people on the planet. thanks for the video.

  • This person should have their kids taken away and sterilized they shouldn't be allowed to breed!

Nothing pisses me off more than having the trail blocked by someone who shouldn't be there in the first place...

  • @moviematcanada Yeah, 'cause it's all about you right? Douchebag. Your the type I refuse to go off-roading with 'cause your an asshole.

  • @outlawracer2229

WOW buddy, I'm the kind of guy that would and have spent my day up to my waist in mud helping a fellow guy out, but when I see someone that is risking their familys lives because of stupidity that is when I get mad...

Off roading in the mountains is dangerous stuff if you are not prepared people die bottom line... if you are not prepared you should not be out there.

In Canada you can actually be denied access to roads if you don't have chains on board for this reason, U Die!

  • need to get some better tires

  • rookies!

  • 2 wheel drive is to get into where you're going... 4 wheel drive is to make sure you get home.

  • FIRST OF ALL WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU TAKING A CHEVY COLORADO OUT THERE?? Thouse things are fucking trash!!!!!! 2nd probly dont have the right tieres or chains for that fact lol

  • Epic Fail, Hey kids this is what not to do.

  • Street tires, I wonder why.

  • I just hope this guy learnt a valuable lesson, and i hope this was an eye opener to guys like him. 4x4 does not mean go anywhere. Especially when it hasn't been properly equipped, and the driver doesn't have the proper driving skills or forethought.

  • I know I wouldn't take my Old Lady ( even tho she has a nice ass) and 2 young Kids down that kind of Road especially in the Winter. Like the Video shows, that there is JEEP Country boy.

  • شف والله العضيم اني مدري وش مكتووووـب هاهاهاها ضفوني امانه 215F2E3

    باي الخياري الرشيدي

  • this could have been avoided. the vid i mean.

  • Its a JEEP thing !!!

  • i just saw ass, so i clicked

  • I got $20 says that guy went and got a lift kit after being free'd..lol

  • 2:14 - 2:25 Best part of video...

  • why didn't they fill the bed with snow for better traction ??

  • you can tell the driver is a dumb ass... natural selection failed too.

  • who would bring that in snow that deep fuckin idiot

  • people say don't take the kids shouldn't have kids. We take a 7yr 3yr and 1mth old elk hunting in the snowy mtns. it's more about how you do it. If your stupid then stupid happens. but being prepared is what it's about. we have MRE's under the back seat we have an 80qt cooler in the bed loaded with food and a few drinks milk and what nots and a case or two of water. we have a way to start a fire if needed and have proper gear in case one has to hike back out. our kids go where we go.

  • a pick up truck stuck in snow, typical piece of shit

  • @VR6Bosnjo i like seeing vr6's stuck , i think it's funny

  • @piglett2195 you are trying to compare a wannabe tuck and a hatchback???

  • this is why I bought a jeep

  • americans? yes - americans. who else !

    ThM

  • I just love watching the jeep drive back and forth. Lol.

  • I just love watching the jeep drive back and forth. Lol.

  • Dispatch, i would love some hot cocoa. over :D

  • Stellar job guys. Thats why I always keep shovels, portable torches, have a winch mounted and a misc bag just in case of these happenings. I also keep an assortment of canned goods and the ability to make fire. You never know when the Happenings come.

  • What the efff are they doing 4 wheeling in the snow in the back woods by them selves with small children on bord they should be in jail for jepordizing the lifes of the little ones comon people grow up

  • @GeorgeVeld no

  • @GeorgeVeld taking the kids out for a day of wheeling is not such a crime is it? Shit happens dude.

  • @TheWyojeeper Yes it is a problem if you get stuck you dont take chances like that when you have kids it is just plane stupid If you want to go and do it by your self ok no problem but the kids in daipers!st they will not even remeber the trip second if both parents become disabled they dont have a chance and dont tellme that both parints could not become disabled because it has happened many times before eg hipothermia co poisoning (Idling car in snowbank exaust is blocked by snow

  • @TheWyojeeper

    I agree!

  • That was very cool of you guys. See why cant there be more people like you all? It makes me sick..

  • Chevy has NOTHING off the showroom floor for this type of snow. Time to get a Jeep or Land Rover if you want to do this or just buy some chains or ramps.

  • I went from a rescue to a camp out when I heard " I've got marshmellows" They were lucky you guys came along.

  • you are a very respectable person

  • dude you dont go out alone

  • Where was this guy going with a GMC Canyon... leave that shit in the driveway.

  • they should of left that grocery getter at home

  • @multiperpose2010 what car you are referring to? I see trucks.

  • Comment removed

  • anyone who gets stuck and cant get out, didnt go prepared.......period, end of discussion!!!

  • Who clicked this because of the girl in the thumbnail?

  • @dougninjafresh looked good to me : )

  • You could hear the mother, she seemed to have such a good attitude about this ordeal. Refreshing for how most people would act.

  • I like when the YJ pullls up. Like a boss

  • Never trust an stock truck :S

  • Comment removed

  • Lucky for them some real good people came along. Also the real good people had the vehicles to get them out of trouble. Good job guys and gals.

  • Sure am glad that one had a happy ending. Nice job guys and gals.

  • gotta love jeeps pull other ppl out of truble

  • It's great you stopped to help. It could have been a pretty bad situation with little kids.

  • Don't thake this the wrong way but it is good to know that there are still some good red blooded amaricans left in this country!!!!

  • y dont u guys go get a cabin and get a couple of beer...

  • this is an example of complete idiocracy. NEVER go wheelin without a buddy. U CAN DIE!

  • he'd better go back to the city and trade that truck in for a bmw

  • Obivously the man in the stock colorado has never been in the woods before.

  • i would keep her warm hell id carry her all the way back to my house in bc canada if i had to she is hot

  • the blond in the blue jeans looks nice: )

  • HILLBILLY HEAVEN

  • Love it.

  • rockers are so nice

  • Where is this at? Im from the area but obviously cant tell.

  • its very nice to see that yall/everyone stopped to help them! everytime i see someone stuck anywhere i stop to help!!!!

  • Nice Job Guys!

    jkowners

  • ive been snow wheeling for years and it dosnt matter if your goen out for just a few minutes or a few hours or what ever i ALWAYS carry a winter kit with me with food water blankets and extra clothes because it dosnt matter what you drive sooner or later your goen to get stuck

  • nice ass at 2:18... she came from "the toilet", or what? cute girl, anyway... :)

  • @supremeon1

Heck yes. I would keep her warm all night.

  • I dont know about you..but I would have had that truck unstuck last night, I think a little effort, like shoving something underneith the tire thats spinning or a good push from the inhabitants of the back seat prolly would have worked.....but what the hey, cant beat free snax lol

  • @smytheratcliffe

I had this situation, doesn't work that way. We had to get the 4WD tractor out to haul em out on a flat trail here in canada

  • They probably thought since it was called a Colorado it could handle colorado terrain lol.

  • good man

  • Midget Bil go it right. Tire chains, tire chains, tire chains. I cannot help but wonder what were they thinking?!

  • that y they make 4wd

  • might be a stab in the dark but is that pipi valley im from calaveras and been there a few times

  • summer tires ;)

  • never go wheelin alone that's all there is too it. That is the typical 4 wheel club, lol looking for someone stuck to help, I know in our club we'll make a run out of it just to help someone get unstuck. There's nothing like being in a wheelin club or around wheelers, I love my jeep and what and who I'm able to hang with because of it.

  • Yikes , unprepared very lucky they got stuck in a good spot were people found them.

dont go off road in winter without at least tire chains and a shovel.

And FYI in canada I have never met another off roader that would leave somone stuck Good to see its a universal unwritten rule !

  • Comment removed

  • I just want to say good job guys! Shows that most 4 wheelers have a big heart....and are prepared.

  • JEEP!

  • Motherlode? Isn't that a porn movie name?

  • i had that happen to me before my friends went wheeling and didnt come home me a my buddy gf went to find them and when we did we got stuck as well we spent the night in 4 feet of snow and walked out 25 k in the snow in the morning what a shity night

  • Tires and 200 lbs in the bed, 3" lift in the front, 4" in the rear. Good to go. I like the truck.

  • I'm not bitchin' about the pickup truck guy having the balls to get in there alone, but first he should've thought of the danger of going in with his wife and kids. Secondly, I don't know about much about 4wd vehicles, but I don't think a pickup truck is good for the job in this case because of the lack of weight in the bed, thus the traction on the rear wheels isn't that good (prolly I'm wrong). He should've carried ropes and several tools in case that this happened. Just common sense.

  • put a 6 in lift kit on that truck and you mite not get stuck next time

  • one word... mattracks

  • Road tires on a stock compact truck is a bad idea

  • some kids did something similar too this in there jeeps. there was a bad storm where i live.. and theres a certain part of the road that floods and people kept getting stuck. so these kids in there jeeps stayed there till it cleared up and were winching people out all nite. my buddys iroc went thru the flood with no problem. so did my grand prix. idk how people got stuck..but they did,

  • that happed me and a few buddys they went wheelin in the snow didnt come home i went to find them got stuck with them we all spent the night in the truck cold as fuck cause the battery died and we had to walk out 35 k in 3 feet of snow.. but wheelin wouldn't be fun if u didn't get stuck once and a while

  • Walk 4 miles fat ass

  • where was this at? Looks like carson pass in Sequoia national monument or Tioga pass in Yosemite.

  • i have been stuck worse. they should of dug it out

  • nice to see that there are still decent people in the world!

  • Snow is one of the trickiest things to off road in, it's very easy to get stuck, and you need a very capable vehicle to easily get through snow. Last time i was wheeling in the snow we managed to get a JK rubicon on 35s buried up to the rockers, airing down is pretty much necessary, deep snow you just end up sitting on your axle on top of 3' of snow with your wheels just spinning in the holes they dug.

  • love those tow straps, so much better than tow chains. A good tow rope will sling shout you out of a stuch weheras a chain will brake something if you try to slingshot.

  • Chains are a nice thing to carry and know how to put on. Lucky you guys were up that way and helped them out though.

  • hah what a stoop. just cause it says Chevy Colorado doesn't mean you can drive in 2 ft of snow with stock tires and no lift haha

  • lol got some balls driving off the tracks like that. Seems as if you really know how to winterize your rig.

  • Well that's what you get if you are American... with a big truck... and with no fucking brain activity. I'm 100% sure only about the last one.

  • @xep3haet and what are you? with your small car and no balls. im 100% sure about both of those.

  • @AONEMANPRODUCTION I don't have a car and might as well be a woman.

  • I have been in their shoes, stuck near Big Bear in my buddies FJ all night... its really nice to see someone like yourself stopping to make sure theyre ok. To me, this is what 4wheeling is all about, so for that, I thank you =)

  • @nathansohm i don't know anyone who wouldn't check....

  • @nathansohm Well said =)

  • and next September all those pretty ladies became mommies. :)

  • wrong tire, no snow chain, no winch, no locker, wrong truck?

  • @midgetBIL meh doesnt seem that he has lockers... he doesnt seem to have a low range and both his diffs are low down. kinda sucks when your truck just wont move

  • Comment removed

  • It's HUGE !

  • nice to see how many people will show up to help someone out of a jimmy, around here you get stuck like that and people just keep on driving by with out even so much of a hey you ok?

  • why do poeple always think there stock trucks are the shit?

  • @schuldinersklokateer because some people actually can drive.... and have knowledge. but knowledge will only get you so far.

  • Wow must have been city people I've rocked my FWD Escort out of snow that deep...gotta know how to drive in the snow people....

  • My IHC 1 ton Travelall does great in snow like that. I bet most of you dont even know what a IHC is do you..LOL..

  • My IHC 1 ton Travelall does great in snow like that.

  • GMC and Jeep are my favorite 4 wheel cars , I think they 're the best and strongest 4x4 , everything else is trash .

  • man i dose not matter if the car 4x4 what kinda tires it has if the snow is deep of ice under the snow U fucked if u u keep shawl and anything that can provide grip to the tires

  • What size tires are on that purple jeep that is cruising through the snow at 1:20?

  • oi

they should sell that truck and get like 4 snowmobiles hahah then they can go camping or least get a lifted chevy truck with good tires then you wont get stuck haha

    the end

    :p

  • that driver needs to learn how to STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP! haha

  • NEVER GO ALONE!!!!!!!

  • @outwestguy26 #1 non written rule for off roading. or if you do go alone, have a way to pull your self out, winch or come along.

  • @racecardriver467 Yes..but anything mechanical can break or fail... always a good Idea to go with someone no matter what even if you have a winch.. it aint gonna get you out if something is broken.... just glad everyone made it out ok...cheers
