Nah not really, just thicker strings and less tapping feed back really requires you to hammer on those strings. I was able to teach it to my bassist friend and the tapping translates fret by fret. Nice screen name btw is that your favorite store?

@lynndabomb Yeah main thing about the tapping is to use fingers on both of your hands instead of trying to jackhammer each note with the your right arm.

I actually tried that at Best Buy. Its kind of hard to keep up with the tablature flying down the screen. It doesn't feel very natural though since you can't bend, scratch, or do any sorts of harmonics. I'd love to try to get good at it though.
