This is brilliant, I have been searching the net for ages trying to find an adapter or 'thingy' to attach a flip HD to the top of a mic stand. Not only does this do exactly that but it also allows for a third axis to angle the camera with as opposed to just being straight off the top of the stand. Thanks very much for taking the time to do this! i'm off to B&Q!
@Mrdionoz You are welcome. Looks like we were thinking along the same lines because I needed something for my Kodak Zi8 and came up with this. I modified a camera mount designed by Pacowarabi and it works perfectly.
@moniqueojohnson Hey! Here is the parts list. 1 1" inch 1/4" 20 TPI (Threads Per Inch) screw, 1 1/4" 20 TPI nut. 1 1/4" spring washer. 1 3/4" PVC Cap, 1 3/4" PVC coupling, and a section of 3/4" PVC pipe. If you have any questions I'll do the best I can.
Wow, exactly what I was looking for... Thanks!

Aha! Looking forward to your upcoming project! By the way: Searched for the PVC stuff, but could not find the same PVC canes here in Switzerland.

This is such a great example of repurposing objects in your environment. By the way, I got a Zoom H1 in part because of your videos. Thanks!

@PacoWarabi No! Thank you! I don't know how I would have gotten some of my shots without your camera mount. It is the most important accessory I use.
