@layththuraya i don't know if you're a muslim or not.. but muslims use the right hand first finger to bear witness in our prayers that Allah is one and that Muhammad (s.a.w.) is his prophet.. He says that as his job to give decisions, he does not want that that finger be used to give any fall decision (as it may be incorrect as well)
