There are a lot of Florida anime cons.  Jacon is in May, Metrocon and Florida Supercon in June, Yasumicon in July, Anime Festival Orlando in August, etc. I only have been to Jacon in Orlando once, since Florida is a bit far for me.

yes, in most cases the voices are pre-recorded because microphones are not supplied at this particular con, and i think even if mics where available, most people would still use the pre-recorded voices because the actors holding microphones would distract from the realistic-ness of the skit.
