I am a westerner and I would like to comment... Islam may not preach anything bad, it may actually preach love and respect towards women and men alike but it's the culture of many islamic countries that force men and women behave in particular ways. Because, my brothers and sisters in God, the one and only God we have and just call him different names, religion is unfortunately hugely based on humans :((( If it was based only on God Himself, we would live in true paradise on Earth

we should be careful who we get married to brothers and sisters. if your a muslim man who feels like your the best muslim because you memorize all the quran and make all salaat and do everything right,you should marry a female who does the same or close. if your a muslim man who struggles in your deen and is sincere but still have problems perfecting salaat and other aspects,you should marry a female like that.most likely a convert. because you can both grow at the same rate in your deen.

A degree of advantage is from our husbands protecting and supporting us- from my research, but you can ask someone with more knowledge on this topic.

My brother, what he meant by water is how we are all made from dirt and mud. Allah swt has created us from mud and in order to make mud you need water and dirt. That is what they meant by that. The water here is meant by sperm, yes He created us from dust (earth).. you can check sura 35, verse 11 ((And God created you from dust, then from a drop of [seminal] fluid))
The prophet says :Marry the loving woman who gives birth 2 lots of children , get married and give birth 2 children as i will be proud of u among nations on judgement day , a woman is married for 4 reasons:her beauty.her money,her high rank family and her religion so try hard to get this with religious devotion , a believer shouldnot hate a believer woman as if he hated a manner from her,he would love another,best men those treating their wives well, angels curse woman refusing the husband bed

I think you should remove the part which says that "a runaway slave's good deeds are not accepted" because slavery is forbidden in islam, except that we are all Allah swt's slave.

Wow! I always wondered if it was propeganda that said women were opressed in Islam. I see from that video that it is so. I am a Christian man and I know that women are equal to men. A man should respect that women have the same rights as men, always. Men and women have many different qualities and strenghts but fundamentaly are equal.
