this is to anyone who cares to answer. my CA M15A4 (that i just got worked on today) has jammed. the piston is stuck in the reward position i've already blown one fuse and this thing won't budge plz help.
Nah they're alot more crude tbh, sure real weapons are designed to be easier to use and maintain but the design of an actual weapon takes considerably more effort.
IMO. Its debatable. There seems to me to be way more parts, Smaller parts, and weaker parts. Thus making working on them a larger risk of damaging them. But when your building a new gun (from a manufacturers stand point), your just making all the pieces you already have fit into a new shell. With real steel your designing a whole new piece to fit. I don't know, but the "complications" keep me interested.
The gearbox sure is easier to work with than a chinese but have you noticed that the piston head has no holes??? That's total, sorry but, bollocks! The quality inside doesn't stray much from the chinese. It's awful! If you get that gun make sure to change everything inside(leaving the stock trigger group is acceptable). It even has plastic bushings! AWFUL! Stil It's easier to upgrade than a chinese gun but I'd rather prefer ClassicArmy. Their gearboxes are far better!
my guns piston is jammed and i need to reset it, will opening the gearbox and manually moving it back fix this?

airsoft guns seem more complicated than real guns

haha they are, real guns uses physics from exploding powder while airsoft is the same and has to make due without the powder

it takes more effor to design them, true - but from the mechanical aspect asgs are lot more complicated
