For this tool to work you need to cut the line 1st and tie it to the lure using this tool, but then what is the purpose if you cannot use this tool with the line wound in your reel?!??! Then you need to do a loop to loop or a blood knot or something to get it attached back... defeats the whole purpose... Besides the tool seems to take ages to tie a knot and has more steps than tying the knot by hand...
If you can't tie on a lure u have no biz fishing and remember ur line has to be dry for it to work properly well I use my fishing equipment so I guess I'm gonna have to do it the right way I can't believe ppl these days that tool is a bad joke I hope
You're absolutely right! If you can't tie a knot, you shouldn't be fishing. Why carry a bulky tying tool that takes up so much space. I understand if its snowing, the temperature is 15 below zero and you can't feel your fingers to tie your fishing knot... this might come in handy. But seriously, this is just ridicules. Learning how to tie a knot is as simple as learning to tie your shoe laces. Everyone can learn.
@rcarterpoolmedics what about paralysis or stroke victims who want to fish? there's a video on here with a guy who is a paraplegic and uses one of these because he only has one good hand. Tell him he shouldn't go fishing....
