Pretty cool video ... Kit looks rock solid. Many people don't understand how nature can turn bitter , real fast . No fanny packs for me !!! Some of the comments below were based obviously on jealousy or some other strange twist ?? Who knows or cares? Thanks for the video .. And much respect to you for being prepared and having a solid kit. Northern California is No joke ... Only the mighty Sasquatch is exempt from being over prepared!
Good idea with the water bottle. I think I'll do the same with my Spec Ops T.H.E. pack. It has tons of molle attachments but no pocket for a water bottle.
If you're going hiking you most likely won't need a hatchet, but hey, if you don't wind the weight go for it. But if you're bushcrafting or camping, the hatchet isn't a big deal.
You can use the 550 para cord as boot laces in a pinch. That way you could ditch the extra laces in your pack. I know that's not much of a weight savings, but it all adds up.Just curious, are you still using this pack and all the same contents, or has it changed? Anyway, great videos Harrison.
yes, and when it reaches the blood-brain barrier it can cause it to break down and can cause alstimers, etc... research aluminum effects on the brain and the blood-brain barrier, and expecially in vaccines!!!!!! also check out the vaccine facts PLEASE !
Great video. That gave me another great ideas for my outdoor trips.
I used to do frequent outdoor trips in Germany with my KLEPPER folding canoe and a knife as a basic ( plus a tent and some reading materials as luxury items ). That was awesome but certainly not so risky then in the big California.
yes.. ... in fact adjuvants such as aluminum and squalene in vaccines are one of the main connections to autism .. but they do it anyways... there is a reason why the vaccine scientists and doctors who make the vaccines... and the h1n1 vaccine said there is no way they would take it or give it to their child.
this is me just ranting but .. check it out.. stay safe man
Another method of carrying that style of water bottle is; check out the Maxpedition 10x4 pouch. It will mount to the side of your pack with their Tack Ties and carry a Nalgene or Stainless Steel water bottle. Just a thought, great review and kit. I've had a Condor 2 for a couple of years now and love it.
Great video... I love to see what everyone of us care in to the wild ( have to do mine yet ). I tend to pull out from my backpack all what is not totaly nesesary but that just me. 5/5 as usual.
Thanks for sharing, awesome pack that mxped, one adaptation I would suggest(you don't have to of course!) is with two similar light/med knives you won't have the range of tasks available than if you had a mora and something like a 6" blade on a main knife but I'm a knife nut and have a lot to choose from...other than that you have some nice gear...
nice pack. i like having a survival book with me too. usually ill take a wild edibles book and see if i can find 1 new thing to eat on the trail. sometimes i find none, but sometimes i find many
Nice day pack, plenty to work with. I agree that a pack should be suited to the environment that you will be in. My packs and EDCs change over time as I upgrade gear or weed out stuff that I don't use.
that pack seems about right for an over nighter in nice weather, the only thing i could see holding it back is water but if you got a river your good :). but then again Ive never been in your terrain so i could be wrong :)

@Aballofmeat4 Hey "kid" I take it your gay cause you know how how to spell Gucci properly.
But I guess as Maxpedition is for gear queers my comments would offend hi-end posuers like yourself.
(by the way, its called a typo you dope).

You should replace your boot laces with 550 cord. This way you will always have about 10 feet of 550 cord with me.

You should add a bag of beef jerky along with your rice and oatmeal. Just add some beef jerky when you cook your rice, and it will rehydrate itself.

Enjoyed this. You're well stocked for the back woods. Good equipment. for your stove, I use bicycle spokes. They're lighter.
