This soup is so awesome that it curls my toes every time I EXPERIENCE it. Wow, this is a handy video, nicely done. But ginger is no substitute for galangal.
i saw another recipe with shiitake mushrooms and curry powder, after i mixed these i kept the soup boiling for too long, somehow the soup turned from white to clear I had to throw it all away, ill try again without the mushrooms hopefully it works out for me
what would gordon ramsey think of this. I like to here his coommend here, should he like this or not!!! maybe he say: THIS TASTE LIKE SHIT OHHHHh MY GODDD!!!!!!!! haha
I am vegetarian can I omit the chicken?

may be "and" but not "or" ginger!!
this menu called "Tom kha gai" in thailanguage.
Tom = soup,curry
Kha = galangal
gai = chicken
So,if don't use galangal what is it going to be ?
