uhm well youd need the equiptment if you dont have it already:P spin, spinpole. learn how to rig it:) its not hard just look it up or something:)

depends some races to enter u have to be under 15 but u can sail a 420 till what ever age but

Bermuda 23 - 2 of us got back into sailing after a long break and we were 32 and 39 - it's all down to weight really.

You can be competitive in a 420 at club level as long you're relatively lightweight.

We're now in a L4k. Having a blast. Far from competive yet tho.

29ers require as much tactics as 420s cus no matter what the boat, ull always find yourself in same situations. Theres not more strategy and tactics in 420s just cus its a slower boat

Agreed, 29er is just crank on the cunningham. I was always taught the controls on 420s are praactically useless, the way they're designed.

our state champs, the skipper was about 45 and the crew was about 60ish.
