This is a wonderful, wonderful song. I can never get through it without weeping. This song is special to me in a way I just can't quite explain. I suspect that apart from heaven itself, there some better things ahead for me that will make the impression of this song to my heart more clear. One thing is for sure: when we are in the presence of our Saviour, there will nothing we have experienced to compare. Haleleujah!!
We have begun practicing a Christmas Cantata at my church. Scott co-wrote a song with Marie Reynolds entitled Let There Be Light. The cantata is entitled His Love Still Shines and was arranged by Keith Christopher.

I have never heard this man sing. I happened to hear "Every Single Tear" on the radio and wow have I been exposed to such a great, inspirational artist. How did I miss out on this guy for so long? May God bless you for posting this.
I met Scott once. Really nice guy, you can tell that he really loves what he does. I've been very inspired by his songwriting. He writes with a very natural style, very accessible, lyrics with substance. This song ranks among my favorite tunes by him. It offers hope-- so many people have lost it due to all that seems to be crashing down around them. Indeed, the best is yet to come.
