  • i think they are amazing dancers and i love this pas de deux....but it looks like a choreographed piece! the original looks effortless and like they're just dancing for each other. of course Ferri made everything look effortless! ;)

    just my opinion!

  • Don't like the jumps.. they're weird. they don't fit the music or the tone at ALL.

But I like it in general. I LOVE their dancing!

  • I LOVE THIS VERSHION!!!! beautiful!!!

  • BLOODY AMAIZING

  • ho my goooooddd the courou fast like flapping wings almost at the end she is amazing i can dare to compare her with alessandra ferri at least at the level of expression she so lovely

  • Oh!!! My God Rene!!! I haven't seen this forever. Bring me back good memories working with you for this ballet. I remember this was our first round through in studio A at CBC. Hope you are well. thank you for everything!!! We miss you....Kisses from Spain. Adi & Joey

  • wow they really love each other. I had tears in my eyes. Beautiful simply beautiful

  • loved it, so passionate, and the cheoreography was beautiful

  • Deeply moved by the music and the dance,¡wish I should have been one of them!.

  • i love how thay smile while theyre dancing

  • Oh, wow. I am absolutely in love with the choreography, its beautiful! And the dancers are as well.

  • I love Joseph Gatti.

  • I really like this dance. The dancers are amazing- the choreography is amazing... it just matches!

  • i read somewhere that they're a couple offstage as well...so adorable. :)

  • they are a couple. ;-)

  • i don't like the choreography but the dancers are great!

  • why? there amazing! and the choreography is amazing!

  • yes , i agree dancer are amazing but i prefer the coreography that dances A. Ferri.. it's diferent.. sorry my bad english

  • ohhh yeai see what you mean. so im guessing your the "classic" kinda person?

  • Great Passion!!! But don't like the choreography...

  • Love the choreography. Love the emotion. Love the dancer's connection. Loved the movement.

The energy kept building throughout the entire pas (major kudos the the dancers and the choreographer). The climax was wonderful.

Left a knot in my chest, a lump in my throat, and a tear in my eye. Simply beautiful.

  • The dancers are lovely and there is absolutely nothing wrong with this choreography. Not everything has to be compared. I found some very nice moments in this choreography. The energy was incredible. They practically never stopped moving. That's pretty damn hard to do for seven and a half minutes. Kudos to the choreographer. I really enjoyed this.

  • Much as I like this choreography it doesn't hold a candle to MacMillan's. Where's the innocence? And that kiss - would two INNOCENT children kiss like that?

  • for some reason adiarys's shoes are always exceptionally loud...does she wear capezio's or something?

  • her shoes must be new.they tap too loud

  • The dancers are beautiful but I like Macmillan's choreography better.

  • dido.

  • Seriously! Nothing compares to Macmillan's!

  • I didn't like the coreography at all. The dancers are good, but the coreography was odd. Also, their emotions were very forced. Romeo and Juliet need to feel the emotion first, and then just let it show, and not put on a face that says "OH I'M IN LOVE!!! THIS IS WHAT I LOOK LIKE WHEN I'M IN LOVE!! LOOK AT MY EYEBROWS!"

  • Touché on the eyebrows.

Some emotion is better than no emotion... ya know? I've seen R&J done with no emotion... it was sad. =(...well, actually, it wasn't.lol. but that's a different story.

  • i didnt think it was that good..sry.

  • I don't think this choreography is fluid, but Almeida and Gatti do their best with the choreography, make the most of it, and do a truly beautiful job.

  • I would say technique and style and almost everything was pleasant, except yea, I agree with the lack of innocence for some part, but mainly I feel that when you try to change a choreo that someone has seen a few hundred times, they tend to reject it.

  • Ironically, the best part of the choreography is the one that resembles MacMILIAN. To see them in that masters work would be a treat. The kiss is all wrong.R&J are innocent children whose famous kiss must posess a simplicity and purity not emphasized in this version. This isn't VERONA, it's Times Square.

  • wow they are soo great! I meet them at the International Ballet Competition in Jackson, Mississippi! They are soo nice and terrific dancers!

  • they worl great together, perfect partnering

  • very good. i can really feel the emotion in them and there expressions are good so i am able to belive that they are like Romeo and Juliet

  • Hola amiga, Como estas???

This is your friend Inge from holland!!

This was so beautifull Adiarys!!! Besos

  • good ,but the girls shoes were clacking! my teacher gets really annoyed if our shoes clack!!

  • well danced-however i'm not a huge fan of the choreography.

  • That was absolutely gorgeous! The perfect R & J pas--so fluid! =]

  • They are a cute couple on stage and off!!

  • That was beautiful.

  • lol, I like that you cut the end with Joey floating on the barre. Looks great guys.

  • they look well together.

  • very good ....gatti and almeyda

  • Very Perfect

    loved ;D

  • wow, I love the way that Almeida really plays a young girl in love! thanks for posting!
