Michael loved to entertain his fans with surprises...with success. MJ and Lionel were dear friends and he knows Michael on level that entertainers do as well. MJ pushed himself to always do it better each tour, as he did preparing himself for his Europe tour. The stress of it caused him to not sleep etc.
