  • Thanks you for making a video based upon your own experience. Pits DO NOT have locking jaws...they hold on and don't let go by choice. Their strong jaw muscles allow them to do this. Pit bulls are naturally goofy and loving dogs...just finiky about other animals

  • Dude you are wrong, my dog was attacked yesterday by a huge pitt and there was no getting him lose. Hit him with bricks ect. nothing. Finally the owner came up and grabbed it's back legs and yanked and it let go. Thank god. My best friend has a pitt and I don't have anything against them it's how their raised, I know this you best watch that ass if your not familar with it.

  • @foldcusion They KNEW? Or they were AFRAID? Cops work with german shepherds, the "bad dog" of the 60s and 70s. They should no better. You on the other hand, are just as ignorant as way too many other people.

  • @foldcusion, this is a PRO PIT video, why are you bashing them here? your attempt at hurtful posts will fall on deaf ears. Pits are wonderful dogs, I have 2 "pit types" and would trust them with kids way before my lab!

  • @foldcusion Man you have some of the most absolutely ridiculous and stupid comments. Moron.....

  • @smallsampl Bahahahaha =]

  • @CJTRIPSGURL4LIFE ;) Don't ya just love the ignorant morons..

  • @foldcusion Really? Where can we see this - Can you post the link for the story? Where is the proof in your statement?

  • Comment removed

  • @foldcusion Why only six times?

  • Besides being full of crap this guy is way too obsessed with his pit bull.

  • @YouToobWatcher3 I know that pits do not have locking jaws, but he is just full of crap with his asinine explanation.

  • @foldcusion You are a sicko and I pity you for enjoying the screams of any animal what so ever! All puppies are born innocent, There is no such thing as a bad breed...only BAD OWNERS!!

  • @CJTRIPSGURL4LIFE

all breeds are not equal, just like humans, negros kill the most...

    read RACE, EVOLUTION AND BEHAVIOR

as to pits, they have killed 21% of the 431 people killed from 1965-2001

  • @CJTRIPSGURL4LIFE I agree - foldcusion (wow what a creative name, not) is a sick pathetic FOOL. And you're right, there are no such thing as bad breeds, only bad owners.

  • @foldcusion are you for real? you sick evil motherfucker. Its people like you who make this world a bad place to live in. Fuck off you ignorant prick.

  • @bradaman96 THUMBS UP!!!

  • I could pull my golden retriever across the carpet while doing the same thing, this isn't a pitbull thing, I'm simply not strong enough to lift my golden retriever.

  • @ImWatchinTheTube

golden retrievers and standard poodles are the two breeds LEAST likely to bite, nice doggies...

chows and sheps are the worst biters (not sure of 1st and second anymore as to both best and worst...

pits are the biggest killers, 21% of deaths out of 431 people from 1965-2001... rotties are the number two killer... you can see the 11 dog list if you google 11 DOGS INSURANCE BANKRATE, that should work...

  • @glorp896 You need to do more research and dont put out false info!! I just looked up this shit the other day and pit bulls are NOT high up on the list!! LOOK AGAIN!! I own an AKC GSD and there again you are WRONG so do your home work before you start bashing these breeds that you are!! Sounds like you would fit in perfectly with BSL!! Google that one (BSL)!!

  • @CJTRIPSGURL4LIFE

i have the data, do you? that originally came from fataldogattacksdotcom, but might not be there anymore, in fact i'd say no... it also comes from a guy that did a study combining canada and USA... pits in fact are BY FAR the biggest killers... when rotties were high on the AKC list they out killed pits for almost half a decade, but have since dropped like a rock out of the top 20 dogs list due to reputation... i'm not making up false info, i'm guided by the empirical data

  • @CJTRIPSGURL4LIFE

    go to dogbitelawdotcom

YouToobWatcher3 has the link on his channel for you and all you pithead pitiful pitophiles, gosh!

  • @glorp896 I'm not saying that goldens are likely to bite, I'm just saying that I personally think they look very intimidating when they snarl and growl and look angry.

And this just goes to show that it all depends on the dog. I have a golden retriever (mixed with ???) and it can prove quite aggressive at times.

  • @ImWatchinTheTube fair enough... they are usually VERY sweet and extremely eager to please...

  • @foldcusion Sounds like PETA would be throwing blood at you. You're telling me that a SWAT team shot a dog in a cage because of the breed? That is simply ignorant.

PS. Watched the video about that SWAT team, anyone who can say the sounds that dog was making was music to their ears is a psycopath.

  • @ImWatchinTheTube You are very correct!!! Peta is not a good group...They profile dogs and participate with BSL!! Look up BSL when you get a chance please. If we fight BSL together and pass it on to others these breeds may have a better chance of not getting banned!! There is no such thing as bad breeds but there IS such thing as BAD OWNERS!!

  • Foldcusion- is a dumb ass u dont know ANYTHING about the breed only what u see on TV...

  • @NewJackPitz Exactly!!!

  • this is agreat message if only people would stop having fears

but what breed is your dog he looks like an amstaff

  • wtf is with all this punkass haters u have rasied ur dog well

  • @zampakto93

we would feel safer without all the damn evil hell hound pit bulls around, thank you...

  • @zampakto93 ZAMPAKTO93 and the other haters are.....are uneducated and ignorant and need to do their research on the breed!!  They obviously have an inferior problem and....since they are afraid of this breed and believe the negative and gossipy stories about them all they wanna do is put out false and negative comments!! PUNISH THE DEED...NOT THE BREED!! FIGHT BSL and protect our rights and the dogs that are being profiled rights!! Google BSL =}

  • @CJTRIPSGURL4LIFE bitch u need to learn to read u illiterate fuck i didnt say shit about jaw locking MYTH all it is a fucking myth made by people who are fuking stupid also i had pitbulls before k so stfu and stop talking out yo bitch ass girl

  • so they just choose not to let go its not that there jaws lock its that there just intent on holding onto it

  • @youngfreeze121

its called GAMENESS, and pits have this in TALL ORDER... its the fight in them, the breeding and genetic structure due to lots of fighting in their blood line, fighting in pits... the history is undeniable...

  • @glorp896 WHAT EVER!!! LOL!

  • ive been in such a lie for so many years.

    thanks for your vid.

  • Great points! I have a bully and he is the best dog! I will never have any other breed and I'm an animal lover.(Except cats) I can't ubderstand how people can belive they have locking jaws. Most breeds cab hold on and be picked up will playing. People are just afraid of a myth. My Beavis is the most loyal, obedient animal I've ever had. I also have a chocolate Lab named Charlie. Him and Beavis are like brothers and play rough all the time and nether of them ever get hurt.

  • @foldcusion do you know how often labs bite? no you dont! because what are you? a dumbass hater. youre story is Bullshit.

  • @foldcusion well, guess what? about a week ago my neighbor was bit by a lab. almost died. now we are trying to ban all labs. well see if we do get it done in a week. ill give updates.

  • @foldcusion you are trying to blind yourself. just trying to start to get people riled up so they will do crazy shit. its not working since you are so stupid.

  • @foldcusion i cant wait until your crazy ass lab bites you.

  • FANTASTIC!!!!

    5 star!!!

  • THANK YOU!!! ( For HELPING to get some TRUTH OUT about PIT BULLS!!! ) 'Bout time someone spoke some TRUTH! ~

  • @RafterDoubleJS Go to face and there are alot of pittie lover groups out there fighting BSL every day. =]

  • great video ;)

  • Wow, you must be strong to lift him like that! He must be quite heavy. My grandparents' lab weighed more than I did when he was still alive. Awesome dog and well trained also.

  • Wait! You're saying people say pitbulls would lock they're jaws and never let them go?That would be retarded, of course if that were true pitbulls would be exctint..That probably is actually saying they have a tight grip with their jaws.I do not know completely. :{)

  • Pitbulls have lots of willpower they let go when they want, or when their owner wants them too. Stupid people see pitbulls hanging on to something and not leting go as lockjaw. when will the narrow mindedness end? o yeah nice video... love your dog.

  • @EHIORX i know, people really just need to do some research and realize that the myth is untrue. oh, and thats a nice dog man!

  • @theamazingplant2 Yeah, people are gonna think what they want anyways. You can only say so much. Thanks for the compliment on my dog.

  • @EHIORX When they pull their ignorant heads out of their asses and research and learn the real truth and facts about the breed rather then believing all of the false and negative stories in the media and other idiots talikng shit!!

  • YOU have to train the dog to have jaw lock. My dog bit me when we were playing, and let go. I agree, its not true

  • @xXMireyaaxX you cant train it to have a jaw lock. its impossible for anything but a crocodile to have that. its simply not physically possible for a pit to "lock" onto anything.

  • you serious?lol there not bred to kill people they are bred for killing dogs, anyway their not killing machines jeez just calm down, and you dont wanna get a dog killed or removed for no reason

  • know someone know what they are talking about no dogs has LOCKING JAWS ITS A MYTH

  • and theres a reason the myth exists although there jaw has no different structure they do basically have locking jaws in the sense that my buddy has a rednose pitbull and when he hangs from a spring rag he is locked onto it he has hung on for a solid 2 hours before and could more than likely hang from it all day as it takes two men to pry his jaws apart so although there jaw is no different from any other when they get a bite you bet your ass those jaws are "locked" there

  • @forbesfoofighters they do not have a different structure. its just that that dog is strong because hes training well to be athletic so hell be healthy. i train both my pit and my treeing walker with a spring pole with a simple rope at the top. my tree walker can stay up for hours at a time and i have to pull his jaws apart to get him off. does he haave a lockikng jaw? NO. NEITHER DO PITS.

  • finally!!! someone that actually knows what there talking about... great video, cant get any more acurate with the info.. i have an american bulldog that does the same thing as your pitbull... its just the drive and determination that bull breeds have not... LOCKING JAWS!!!

  • Read any creditable source and you will find it is false that pits have lock jaw. Scientifically the structure of their jaw proves that is a myth. Yes, they are a very powerful, determined breed. That you can prove.

  • u shouldn't swing him around like that it could break his teeth

  • if pit bulls have lock jaw where do you put the key in your ass cane corso

  • the cane corso guy is a fag and dont know shit about dogs

  • have you ever been bit by a pit??by this video i guess not.

  • you trained him very well.

  • If they wouldnt survive if they had lock jaw y do we

  • if pits dont have locking jaws then tell me why pit men use a breaking stick to release there dog jaws LOL

  • they use s brealing stick to keep the dogs from getting a new bite on the other dog they bite the stick thats stuck in there mouths

  • LOL you dont know anything about pitbull fights the breaking stick were use to unlock the pitbulls jaws

  • whats funny is you think you know something about dogs and breaking sticks you jack ass and read a book on a pit bull and you will see i am right. and as far as knowing about pits i forgot more then you would ever know. and you knew any thing you would know a dog cant lock its jaws . your an idiot people like you should be locked up for being so stupid. fuck off and quit acting like you know anything about dogs

  • you get your info from the book while I find out from dog fights LOL and you think I dont know anything about pit fights LOL why dont you join the pit fight and find out for your self like I did dumb ass

  • ha ha you idiot. are you really going to tell me and every one in the world that your a dog figter loser why dont you come see me and ill game test your ass. your just a cur little bitch you sit online watching dog fights feeling tough if your down with dg fights what the fuck you doing with a cane corso mr dog fighter goof bitch

  • I know I might be late to join in this but I'm going to anyway. Am I right that your are bragging about fighting dogs? Wow, so not only do dog fighters hide behind their dogs but the hide behind the internet, which is the worst place to hide, fyi. Second, I think a dog fighter would know better than to believe the lock jaw myth as it was place on every single breed that was used for fighting or gaurding, like the Dobie. If their jaws locked fights would be short and with only one bite per dog.

  • @TheCaneCorso BECAUSE IT STOPS THEM FROM BITING THE DOG AGAIN.

  • Good Going Roo!

L-Belle Staffordshire BUll Terriers are a HUGE fan of Wallace!

Congrats on all your great work with him! Thanks for all the positive Bully PR & Education!

  • so when i put you in a head lock what should i call that? a head hold,NO!!! we call it a headlock OK artared! so when my pit lockes on your balls what should i call it?ball hold no!!! we call it "lockjaw" yes i believe there is no locking mechanism in the jaws of a pitbull or any other K-9 but shit people if a pit lockes on you, or anything else for that matter, good fuckin luck tryin to break the dogs hold.

  • Your one stupid person. First off don't show no example with no punk ass dog. Its a difference in there bite, when there playing and attacking.

  • @shook313

he has a point, and his video does make sense.

  • @shook313 you really are a fuckwit

  • pitbulls do have locking jaws dum ass

  • Dr. I Bispin of the University of South Carolina would disagree dumbass

  • Great work with your dog ... do you have any new videos ???

  • Neither pitbulls, nor any other bull breed have a locking jaw. FACT. What they do have is great strength and tenacity. The two things are completely different.

The only people who believe such myths are morons or idiots trying to "Big-up" their breeds.

Breed Specific Legislation may soon be a thing of the past in the UK. I for one hope to see a return of these great dogs in to RESPONSIBLE homes. But seeing what irresponsible people have done to the Stafford, i dont hold out much hope.

  • stfu bitch

  • I wasn't addressing you asshole!!!

But NOW I'am: so you can prpoerly FUCK OFF!!!

  • @SilverThunder I KNOW. you are so correct. i have been bit by a lab. they are awful little beasts! but pits are sweet loving things

  • Its really good to see someone who has actually taken the time to educate themselves and properly train they're bully breed.

    Good job.

  • People say they dont lock but they are realted to cane corso from the distant past read this! The molosser is of great size and a great biter, like the Cane Corso. I know that the Cane Corso, when he has struck his fangs into a wild boar or wild bull, he can not be separated from the prey without the intervention of the hunter to his locked mandible." BS they do lock there jaws!

  • Nice video.

The lock jaw myth exists with staffodshire bull terriers. It's a shame so many people beleive it. I wish pitbulls were not ilegal in England.

  • pitbull wont easily let go because their ancestors were bred for dog fighting.

I actually witnessed a pitbull biting another dog, still, I love those dogs. Pitbulls are also part of the terriers. Those dogs are by definition more.. asserted. its all about mentality and unresponsible ownership.

  • ur basically just saying wut he said :p

  • My mother is an FCI judge and my father is a dentist. It's opinion they both created. Hope ypu all consider their knowledge trustworthy

  • There's only ONE breed that locks jaws SOMETIMES.ENGLISH BULLDOG. locking is caused by specific anatomy of this breed's skull and jaws-lower jaw is situated more to front than the upper one. This anatomy, with quite powerful bite, creates a lever that causes the lower jaw to jump out of the joints and it locks.

This skeleton characteristics is UNUSUAL among dog breeds. PITBULLS have normal jaws, UPPER JAW MORE TO FRONT THAN THE LOWR ONE. This phisically makes a PITBULL_JAW_LOCK IMPOSSIBLE!

  • pitbulls aren't machines tool.

  • Merry Christmas to you

  • well said.....thank you

  • Thank you too! Check out what I said below to that bastard: foldcusion!!!

  • My first comment was made in reply to another post that stated, in short, that pit bulls' jaws home-in on human flesh, but for some reason it did not show up as it should. This is a YouTube glitch, not a fault of mine.

I do NOT believe any breed of dog has locking jaws and I DO believe that ALL of Roo's arguments are true.

Perhaps you should take the time to read over comments. Then you could grasp their meaning.

  • ladypitbullove,

You obviously didn't read any of Jadepaw's posts.

She never stated pit bulls have locking jaws. She was arguing against the idea that not only do pit bull-type dogs have locking jaws, but that they also home in on human flesh.

Next time, try not to attack those who agree with you.

  • @Jadepaw i know. fold is just to dumb to realize that though.

  • "They are usually owned by poor or black people so you're not losing good neighbors by throwing these trailer trash out."

I like how foldcusion talks about how much better Obama is than McCain, yet he says that black people are bad neighbors and that they're trailer trash. By the way, nice grammar, foldcusion. "throwing these trailer trash out"

Anyways, Roo rocks and so does Wallace.

  • Roo i like the way you handle the critics, it shows you have class! i take my hat off to you! btw. cool dog!

  • lol i agree wiv evry word

i mean make anova video wen this breed kills someone you know.. they lack the sense other dogs have. they are the worst dogs when untreained nut are quite good when they are. blame the owners not the dogs

  • Cornelious Blackston

PhD,MD,Esq,RN,DDS,1SG & Professor of Canine Physiology at UCLA

Studies conducted regarding the structure of the skulls, mandibles and teeth of pit bulls show that, in proportion to their size, their jaw structure, is abnormally large and overly formed compared that of any other breed of dog of comparable size and build. Further there is compounding evidence supporting the existence of a locking mechanism unique to the structure of the jaws and teeth of pit bulls.

  • You obviously have never had a lecture with Dr. Blackston, as he often discusses his research on locking pitbull jaws with each class he has. Canine studies is a common field of study for those going into medicine because doctors will need to know how to properly respond to a wound inflicted by ferocious predators such as these.

You must be the one making up "facts" as the famous statue, "Pitbull Ascending a Staircase" in the east wing of the veterinary hall was originally erected in his honor.

  • well said i coudnt have said it better you talk some sence unlike some people jaw lock

  • What a gorgeous dog you have there mate.

I am fascinted by Pit breeds and I no longer have a dog, but I want to get another someday, just not right now ( No Cash / No Time / Take your pick )

he certainly loved to hold on tight - like they all do. I liked how quickly he also let go... Good sign of a well behaved dog, absolutely no mistaking who his master is there I feel.

Thank you for being so precise and clear on the explanation.

  • The whole myth of pitbull's having a lock jaw doesnt mean that their jaws actually lock dumbass. It more of saying that once they grab on, its hella hard to open. They tend not to wanna let go. Thats where the whole, "oh, pitbulls have lock jaws, they will never open" people are fuckin retarded.

  • Great video! you manage to explain it so well.

I have a staffy and they also get the lock jaw myth, and when i was walking her some guy came over and asked if he could try to get her to lock it. but she was so tired she couldnt physically hold on. she was so determined but just couldnt.

I love wallace by the way and i think your an amazing and responsible person. I think your a great team.

  • pitbulls dont have lock jaws but people only say they do becuse in pitfights they grab hold of his oppent and wont let go just like any other bullie breed

  • it dosn't look like your dog is a pure bread correct me if im wrong though im not saying it isnt but when you said they would starve if they could lock their jaws im sure they could unlock them obviously your dog is trained but i think if a pure bread pitbull is not trained and is backed up in a corner and had to fight their way through they would bite and "lock their jaw" it dosnt mean its actually locked like as their bones but they are strong and it would take a lot to pry their jaws open

  • have you been studying canine genetics and behavior for long/ or is this just ur uninformed opinion?

  • thats any dog genius....ANY dog will be aggressive when threatened! its retatrds like you that keep all this hype going about pits...if you dont know what your talking about then shut the fuck up....thanks have a good day fucker

  • you cant unlock you fucking jaw u idiout

  • pitbulls jus have very strong jaws and won't let go once there ahold

  • False , yes they have strong jaws but they will let go. They are just very determine dogs.

  • he talks some sense but the beginning why would it be beneficial they couldnt eat or drink if they did have lock jaw they would use when and if required and not starve , there is no lock jaw its simple , if any of you or me cant open a clenched fist of another man does that mean he has "lock fist" no just means he can clench his fist tight like a pitbull can shut his jaws tight it just means they have more powerful jaws than say a labrador .

  • It amazes me how ignorant and stupid people can be. What he has done with Wallace is amazing, and what he is trying to teach people is amazing. I own a APBT and he is a sweetheart, my mothers boston terrier is more vicious then he is. All the haters on here really need to either get a life, or do some real research instead of believing twisted news stories and other youtube lackies. Keep up the good work Wallace is an amazing dog.

  • Lehr Brisbin

PhD, Professor of Ecology at the U of South Carolina

The studies which have been conducted of the structure of the skulls, mandibles and teeth of pit bulls show that, in proportion to their size, their jaw structure, and thus its inferred functional morphology, is no different than that of any other breed of dog of comparable size and build. Further there is no evidence for the existence of any kind of locking mechanism unique to the structure of the jaws and/or teeth of pit bulls.

  • you just said that no owner has controle over there pitbulls, did you sneak out of the loony bin, you shouldnt be allowed to use a computer, did you not just watch him easily controle wallace, the sad thing is that others are dumb enough to believe you

  • "THERE ARE NO BAD BREEDS, ONLY BAD OWNERS", thanks for atleast trying to educate these IGNORANT IDIOTS that want to believe the B.S.

  • Do you realize how irrational you sound? You're only proving the fact that people don't know much about pit bulls and let myths shape their beliefs. Congrats. Darwin will be with you shortly.

  • you're an idiot go castrate yourself so you never breed and have any retarded kids

  • lol, you have a very good point, and cut out his tongue so he cant try to educate others on myths and lies

  • Thank you very much for your common sense.

Really, we don't need to prove that dogs are so wonderful in order to fight BSL. Just takes simple arithmetic.

  • I agree with foldingcushion 102%. As a Doctor of Pitbull Studies at Kansas State University, I have personally conducted studies on over 8 pitbulls and have conclusively proven that not only do the jaws of pitbulls HOME IN on the closest human flesh, but that they are specially manufactured to lock on with deadly force, ripping apart bone and tendon almost instantly. I would NOT recommend a pitbull to anyone with more than one (1) babies, as these animals are specially designed to kill people.

  • So now the have radar jaws as well?

And please tell me how a dog bred as a multi-functional farm animal has EVER been bred to kill people.

  • @magnesiumstearate lol. now they have radar jaws. now THIS is beginning to get funny. and ive had a pit since i was in the womb.

  • Sweet! More haters. Your comments are pretty amusing to me actually. Talk all you want because it won't change what I've done with mine to prove you wrong.

  • Your full of it.......

  • lol...if you say so

  • not with a fucking sleeve dumbass im talking bout ur human flesh

  • Somebody's cranky. lol Whenever his teeth have hit my flesh on accident through rough housing with him, he immediately inhibits his bite and doesn't clamp down. But I'll tell you this, you show me the mechanism or enzyme on any pit to make their jaws lock, and I'll reconsider my thoughts on this.

  • It's nice to see someone trying to better the name of these dogs, I commend you! These are good dogs!

  • post a video of wallace biting you in the arm and see if his jaw locks

  • ummmmm.....there are these things called bite sleeves so you can do that very thing. My friend has one and we've done it with Wallace and he released just fine. Not really worth making another video cuz it would be the same thing you're seeing here.

  • Wow this really changed my opinion about pit bulls. After seeing so many bad things about them,i really thought they were these were agressive dogs made even more agressive by stupid people..Btw,I think Wallace is awesome.=)

  • Really changed my views on pitbulls. thankyou

  • Dr Brisbin PhD (Georgia University) states:

"The few studies which have been conducted of the structure of the skulls, mandibles and teeth of pit bulls show that, in proportion to their size, their jaw structure and thus its inferred functional morphology, is no different than that of any breed of dog. There is absolutely no evidence for the existence of any kind of 'locking mechanism' unique to the structure of the jaw and/or teeth of the American Pit Bull Terrier."

  • You guys rock, okay? I just want everyone to know that! Ignorance is what's playing into these dogs' demise, and it's people like you, my friend, that are hopefully going to help these dogs from vanishing off this earth. Bless the dogs!

  • wether a locking jaw would be good for them in the wild is irrelavent because they didnt evolve like other animals out in the wild, they were transformed by humans from the original dogs...and the fact that he can let go of the rope doesnt show it doesnt have locking jaws , it just shows that it can unlock them. i love pitbulls and am getting one, but they do have the ability to hold on really really hard to objects..wether you want to call it a locking jaw or not is up to you.

  • The point is that many people think there is actually a mechanism or enzyme that causes the dogs' jaws to physically lock shut. If you think they can lock and unlock, then show me the mechanism or enzyme that is engaged/disengaged or excreted for this to happen. Just becuase they were bred to hold on, doesn't mean their jaws lock shut. There's a big difference in my mind.

  • ya i understand man, i thought they really locked in place because of a bone or something untill i did more research a while ago. they just have very strong jaws..sometimes twice as strong as other dogs like dobermans and rotweilers... youre definately right that there is NO LOCKING JAW but they do have the ability to bite down very hard and hold ..like pitbulls that do springpoles for like 10 minutes or more!!!

  • Actually, in a National Geographic show called Bite Force, 3 breeds were tested. G.Shep, Rotti, and Pit bull. The pit bull ranked LAST in bite strength. Pits jaws are as strong as other dogs of comparable size. I have seen labs and goldens use spring poles as long and good as a pit.

  • ya i saw that on youtube...i think how hard the dog is trying to bite is very important...that test is flawed..i owuld love to see a lab or golden do a spring pole, but i dont really believe you...maybe i could get my doberman to do it then...

  • I don't care if you believe me or not, I saw a lab and golden do it, any dog can be trained to. Even small dogs. And yes, you can get your doberman to do it if you train them to. And how was the test flawed. How would YOU do the test? They had the dogs do not one bite, but several. And every time, the pit bull ranked LAST.

  • well i'm actually glad they took last cause its good for people to see that....but it all depends on how hard thew dog is trying to bite..you dont know that they are trying their hardest or if they are just biting like theyve been taught to. small dogs can do it , you are right there.. my buddys jack russel does it but its the weight to strength ratio

  • That is what I mean, pit bulls' bites are about the same as another dog of similar size and weight. And those dogs in the segment were trained attack dogs, trained to bite and hold. Believe me, they bite really hard, its part of that training. They could be disqualified from that training (Schutzhund) if they give a gentler bite. The point of the training is to bite and hold the person there, till commanded to release. If you struggle, they bite down harder, but don't tear.

  • yes i'm very familiar with schutzhund. i just dont think its that accurate.. its like i could punch you in the face and knock you out..or i could punch in the face as hard as i can and break some bones. i just dont know if they are all trying as hard...cause everyone has always said pits have the strongest bite. but i guess how could they compare to a 120 lb dog.

  • For their size, their bite is the strongest. But it's not the strongest of all the breeds.

  • yah ok, like i'm going to take facts from someone off youtube....you have to post a reference or something..who cares if someone gets on and just says some info..back it up or dont say anything

  • @tminard20 my tree walker does a spring pole.holds on LONGER than my pit.

  • whats your point?

  • @tminard20 that not only pits are strong in the jaw.
