something easy to make that desnt require you to spend an arm and leg on abrasives is seaglass. Just find a beerbottle or winebottle in different colors, break them, throw them in the tumbler with a little sand from a beach or outside anywhere, and POOF! insta-seaglass in about 2 or 3 days.
We use water and grit. The video is before we've added any grit. The brand is a Thumbler's Tumbler Ultravibe 45. It does a good job for the first couple of rounds of grit, then we transfer to regular rolling tumblers for the final polishing process.
