It looks like Milo wants some quick attention when he sees Anna coming your way. Basset's love showing off for the camera's. Just be careful don't let Anna ride him or crawl on him, could hurt his back. Dogs are not horses.
cute clip. you should see what my 3yr old does to our basset she thinks sassy is a horse, the hound could care less. not once has our hound snapped nip or even growled at my kids no matter what my kids do sassy just takes it or gets up and walks away lol my kids even wrestle with her and shes very gental or to lazy to care lol
My boy's daddy used to drag him on him tail to show off to people how gentle the boy is, and the boy never gets mad...I always yelled @ him when I saw that, I thought it was so bad for the boy.... ;)
we got our basset as a pup when our son was 11 months old. He is the gentlest, sweetest dog and will let our son lay his head on him, put toys in his mouth and hug him. They are partners in crime - our son will get into things and suddenly here comes the dog with envelopes or magazines! They are great dogs for kids!
Great vid... my hounds totally become docile when my niece comes over... they are great with kids. Now the cat...he gets the worst of it. But then again, he does like to swat their tails when they walk by.
did it chase her and do the same thing again

This comment has received too many negative votes show
I didn't like the mans tone at the end telling a baby "That's not the way we play with the dog!"; lighten up cup cake :)

It's one of the quickest, yet most enjoyable video I have seen in a while. lol I don't think I've ever seen a bassett move that quickly.
