Ah the irish use similar weapons to that of the NZers.Except our standart Primary weapon is a Australian Varient of the Steyr we use the Austeyr F88 rifle =)
Our support weapon is the C9 Light MG.Our heavy arms is the Browning 50 like most nations.we us the mortar 81mm, L16A2.
@PkayerZxz2 The FN / Browning Heavy Machine Gun (HMG)is a battalion level support weapon of the Irish Army. The support company of each battalion is equipped with them. Hope that awnsers your question what about canada? They equiped simaler? (jeez my grammer is horrible today XD)
@Cliathairi SAWs (Squad Automatic Weapons) are organic at the Squad level obviously. The Heavy Weapons Platoon of a Company would have HMGs. But it's different for each army and I don't know how it works for us. I don't have a TO&E for Canadian Infantry Companies and Battalions. XD
didnt think the m203 had such range

@Cliathairi Most armies have HMGs at company level IIRC. Or at least they did in WWII. I'm not sure about Canada.
PkayerZxz2 11 months ago
@PkayerZxz2 in a support company i presume, they would have something like a GPMG or SAW in a rifle company.

@PkayerZxz2 you could prbly find the info online if you looked for it.
Cliathairi 11 months ago
@Cliathairi Wiki doesn't have it and I don't think the official websites have TO&Es, I could probably find it if i looked hard enough though.
PkayerZxz2 11 months ago
@PkayerZxz2 That is unusal, i can find that info on the Irish army pretty easily both on official and unofficial websites.

That would of been crazy if some hunter got shot by the GPMG when they shot into the hills.
