@UrkManRocks They can try, but I really doubt anything they come up with will topple the best they had from the mid 80s-late 90s... the question would be, would they air anything that would be on par with the worse they offered during that era... :)
Whether or not they offer anything on par with the first era (or even the second) is moot--and I don't mean that to be critical. :) You may not like a "new TGIF" lineup, but consider that people who are now in their 80s, who watched first-run episodes of Father Knows Best and the like during the '50s, most likely couldn't identify with 1990s TGIF. However, that didn't stop the lineup from being a success. Why? Well, they weren't going after 65+ viewers in their demos.
(cont'd) My point is, "quality" is a generational opinion. Viewers who were young adults in the 1950s probably wouldn't like youth-oriented programs in the 1990s, and those were were young adults in the 1980s and even '90s probably are going to dismiss youthful shows from this decade. However, teens today will eat up something that is tangible and entertaining to them. Let's face it, every generation has consumed something that their elders have dismissed. It's the circle of life.
@WREYtube you can say that for tv in general though. Look at NBC. You think any of those lowly rated comedies can beat any thing from the 80's early 90's? I think the third time's the charm. It won't beat the 90's version but it'll be better than the '03 revival. You can bank on that
I remember crystal pepsi... it tasted like shit!! lol

@UrkManRocks The promo for Dinosaurs is from JoMarie Payton of Family Matters. The promo during the Step by Step credits is by Bill Rice.

@osaji922 We'll see... I guess the litmus test will be if today's kids think of it as highly as the lineup we had as kids... :)

I actually thought Crystal Pepsi wasn't that bad. If they had marketed under a name besides Pepsi it might have caught on.

@FutureNewsAnchor I loved Crystal Pepsi, but the idea of drinking 20-year-old Crystal Pepsi... no.
