@ADONAIS9991 Well, There are plenty of author's that I haven't read from many different countries. But based off of what I've read...I prefer writers from places like India, China, Niger, Columbia etc. For example, "The Great Gatsby", "Catcher in the Rye"...didn't like them. "To Kill a Mockingbird", "1984", "Lord of the Flies"...good, but not really GREAT to me. I couldn't even get through the first few pages of "Of Mice and Men". Just my opinion.

My personal favourite is Dickens.I've always enjoyed his writing far more than Shakespeare.

I'm American, but I tend to enjoy the work of authors from non-English speaking countries more so than those who are from such countries.

@KrfNYC2 good for you...but English writers are just better. It's true. For me. And anyone else who knows anything about quality literature.
