  • master good good

  • i like your tone better than george!

  • Is it just a normal amp?

  • Wow! great job

  • tabs please?

  • Awesome!!!

  • Very Good tone and Nice Guitar ¡¡

  • aaaaa. this is sooo good.

  • Very good tone and lesson. Respectfully, at "Believe me when I tell you..." looks and sounds (unless I am missing something) as if you are playing a D. I think The Beatles play a Bm. The relative minor of the chord you are playing. Cheers

  • should be upstrokes

  • No offence, but you're not cool if you don't know the difference between speech quotation marks ("...") and text quotation marks ('...'). Only kidding man. I absolutely love your work. Tim

  • i want Les paul so bad! great playing!

  • hm that looks negotiable

  • @jonasjar Ouch.

  • @privettricker thats very nice, what strings do you strike? Visually it looks like 2-3-4, soundwise its more shrill, like 1-2-3, did you come up with this yerself? sounds on the spot.

  • @privettricker this sound so nice, would you be so nice and write out the chords in the form of XX7655, XXX997, XXX675 ? I've been watching this for a while but am unable to figure out the chord figures with certainty.

  • @jonasjar All the chords are the same chord shape (B/E on one fret, G one fret up from that, and D one fret up from the G), the same shape as an F down in the first position. You're just moving that shape around the fretboard. The only chord shape that's different is the one that first appears at :14, which is E at one fret, B one fret up from that, D/G one fret up from the B. On the strum, you're hitting the four highest strings.

  • @privettricker ok, that's what it looks like, so its an F shape in all occurrences except when its a B-minor kind of shape? Well, that sounds pretty simple, but its sure is a nice accompany pattern. Think I will try it as a lesson for my 12 year old, its a good illustration of one of many ways to instrument a pop song.

  • how much did that guitar cost and whered you buy it

  • @diegosantiago1996 Can you really put a price on tone? :)

  • @privettricker just wondering what type of guitar to buy. any recommendations?

  • @diegosantiago1996 My only advice: Don't spend a dime more than you can afford. Don't buy a guitar that's priced above your skill level.

  • @privettricker thanks.:)

  • @privettricker you're nuts. The guitar is like a marriage: always buy a guitar that is better than you -- it makes you better. haha

  • what effects are yu usong if you are using any and where did you find the tabs for this?!?!

  • @aerofan456 No effects, just straight to the amp. I don't read tabs, I just play by ear.

  • Gibson or Epiphone?

  • @AlienWorkshopSk8tr Gibson!

  • @privettricker thought so, epiphones dont usually have nice flametops

  • Rock n' Roll \m/

    Awesome dude!! XD

  • Such a simple song, yet such an awesome one, too! Just goes to show that beautiful music doesn't need to consist of playing a guitar at insane speeds!

Great playing, and that's a lovely Les you have there!

  • @privettricker actually lennon did play paino

  • @masonha1 Geez, I'm stunned at that. Paul would have written it on piano, and at that point, John wasn't very involved in recording tunes that weren't his! Thanks for the info.

  • that was a great cover

  • It sounds just like the song! Awesome dude!

  • No offense, but your not cool when you like slide to the low notes

  • @XWViewer No offense, but you're not cool when you like don't know the difference between "you're" and "your."

  • @kendalljones99 ooopps, that "LOL" was for your comment about "you're" and "your"......

  • @privettricker LOL. xD Niiiiiice.

  • @XWViewer he's playing it correctly.. dude, this is spot on!

  • do you think he used his les paul? (george that is)

  • I'm thinking it's that red LP (Lucy).

  • @privettricker I am going to sound like a nerd but the guiter he uses would be the one they use in The Beatles Rock Band, since Paul and Richard confirm everything they put in the game.

  • @BandOnTheRun87 Geoge Plays a gretsch

  • @XWViewer Technically speaking, George doesn't play anything any more. But he stopped playing Gretsches around early 1966, unless you count the Wilbury period. This song was most certainly not played on a Gretsch.

  • @XWViewer he played a les paul around 68-69

  • quien te cree!!?? chamullero pusistes el tema y no tocas una mierda de guitarra

  • Tabs!!!! Cool cover, i only find the song but with "normal" chords...

    5 stars

  • Think of these as just the higher parts of barre chords. That's really what these are, just the upper four strings of standard barre chords.

  • where are there tabs??

  • Sorry, I don't read or write tabs. But I would imagine there are plenty of Beatles tab sites.

  • okay thanks. its just a bit difficult for me to see where you are puting your hands on the neck.

  • If it helps, the song starts in A at the 5th fret.

  • man this is just amazing

  • All credit goes to George!
