  • I saw Cheap Trick on this tour, I was 15.

  • @tommybass40 I did too, my first C.T. concert, spring 1980. I had just turned 15 that month. Awesome show (The Romantics opened). Great RnR era back then.

  • First Concert I ever saw as a teen with a few neighbors. Phenominal Show.

Seeing Moon Martin who opened for them that night was cool. Bad Case of loving you, the best original version.

  • @Notdoneyetband i saw that tour, too.

  • It aint no "Hall of Fame" without the Tricksters.

  • ROCK N' ROLL CHEAP TRICKIN' ! OH YEAH!

  • Fuckin Zander beltin it out!

One of my all time faves!

  • This wasalways one of their best live tunes from the late '70's shows...Rick used to do a pretty cool blues/shuffle/ Guitar solo that ended with Tom and Bun E joining in at the end!!!

  • Something I will never understand. There are so many Trick fans, yet where the hell are they at the shows????

  • cheap trick rocks

  • Robin hit the lyrics-the rest always the best. people don't appreciate Bun E Carlos

  • WOW!!!!! I AM BLOWN AWAY BY THIS VIDEO!!! MY ALL TIME FAVORITE SONG FROM CHEAP TRICK AND IT FUCKIN ROCKS!!!!!!! tHANkS fOr ShArINg!

  • Much better than the Reading Festival version, you can actually hear the bass

P.S. = Tom used Hiwatt guitar amps for his 8 & 12 string basses!

  • No ProTools here, no loops or "beats", just 4 kick-ass musicians rocking it right the F out!

  • Thank you ! Every time I see them they make me feel like I'm on top of the world!

  • This is how ROCK AND ROLL IS DONE KIDDIES!!! Note how much BETTER it is than the garbage that's spouted mout and passed off as being "good music" these days. The present crap that's being handed to us these days is pathetic! These new groups could learn alot from CHEAP TRICK AND NEED TO.

  • yes! 95% of music these days is complete shit. and even the enjoyable stuff still does not even come close to comparing to music from the 60's, 70's, 80's. and what is with this switch to rap, r&b and hip-hop. who invented that garbage...

  • It's a shame, I've encountered few bands these days that empress me the way Rush, ACDC, Ozzy,MotelyCrue 1st did. There are a few good songs in the R&B,hiphop&rap, but so much sounds so much alike& have no imagination in them. They sure don't leave much to our imagination either. "Oh baby, I Fed U so good', crap gets very old. Gangster rap is the worst. Where the hell are the Cheap Trick, Rush, ACDC, Led Zeps of today? It's all so soft edged, watered down& repetitive. * heavy sigh*

  • pathetic is a great word to describe present music

  • Thanks, it's good to know people agree with me.

  • @Sharky2055 Wow - that's a really original comment old man. Like you can't find the same type of remark on any other video of a song by uh, Led Zep, the Beatles, the Who, Jethro Tull, blah, blah, blah, blah. Why don't you stick to just listening to our old music. Cheap Trick is awesome, but kids don't need self appointed dads like you to tell them what to listen to - and THAT is what rock and roll is about.

  • @masssterilization

    1) I'm not old.

    2) I'm not a dad.

    3) I'm not male.

    4) You shouldn't assume.

    5) You can kiss my ass.

  • @Sharky2055 Not sure who you are responding to, but I love your post!!!

  • @gumborific

I was just throwing it out there! Thank yoU!

  • @Sharky2055 Now you see white kids running around saying "yo yo wassup" and flashing gang signs and now our identity and UNITY IS GONE and.. SO GOES OUR COUNTRY.

  • I "just got back" from seeing them at the Dixon May Fair in CA, and they really do sound better and better every time I see them. They played stuff I have not heard live in a long time. Keep it up fellas!

  • I agree. These guys invented the "Power pop sound. For that reason alone they should be inducted.

  • no band can compare to them

  • These guys are probably the most underrated rock band ever besides Jellyfish. By the way based on this concert alone I have reason to believe that Robin is Kurt Cobain's father. LOL. He looks just like Kurt.

  • They are underrated and they need to be in the Rock Hall of Fame a long time ago!!!

  • Bun E.'s got a double bass drum, didn't think he did that until Pete was in the band.

  • After watching this I wonder how close Tom was to leaving, he seemed to be keeping his distance a bit. Maybe not...

  • He sure was much more of a showman on this tour than ever before, like he's trying to be the ENTIRE band himself. I love it, actually.

  • Killer!!

Love the 'Peter Gunn' bit at the start.

We want a dvd release, so we can crank it!!

  • It's criminal how under appreciated these guys are

  • My fav era for C.T.

I mean who can beat The Budokan for a live album!!!

  • this rules! an amazing performane of my all-time favorite Trick song.

  • Great sound & visual band!

I love them most than ever!

    thanks ,cheaptrick!

  • Rockford rocks

  • There isn't a current power pop band that can touch this!....on any level.

  • great
