In the meantime, i cherish my other one, and I've bought a smaller skull that was sold as Mariaglass (clear selenite), but upon arriving she appeared to be of the same optical calcite in vague magenta, and of the same carivng! So I'm really happy with her as well :-) She's 6,5 cm length.
Half-asleep.,I checked if she was gonna come and the answer was yes, so I lazily assumed it was allright as it was and went back to sleep. Only to wake up later, run to my pc and to my great distress finding i'd been outbid! Í'll never forgive myself! (so to speak). The other skull arrived, but doesnt speak to me the way she did. Only afterwards did i realize she hadn't come for nothing, to wake me up... I am still searching the web for her, perhaps one day she'll be for sale again....
In fact, when obtaining that skull, I bid also on his sister, an optical calcite in magenta of 3 kilo's. I was very very very eager on her. The auction ewnded in the middle of the night and I'd been the only bidder thus far. I put my alarm clock to make sure I wouyldnt get overbid (forgetting I could have risen my highest bid very high!), and shortly bedfore the alarm went off there she was, waking me, She was all honey, smiles, sunshine and friendliness, just a wonderful wonderful being.
Hi there :-) I've got one of these too, he's 3,5 kilo's and I'd love to show him to you. He was carved by an old man in, as you say, madagascar, who had to stop carving because his fingers wont do any more. That's all I could get to know about him.
Hey Tactical if you want a skull like this one it will cost about $5,000. ha ha ha Not really. Every stone skull is different in size and type of material and detail so it's hard to say. Have a look on EBay and you will see many for sale there but 98% are sitting in China. Mine were all made in Madagascar by a couple guys that worked only for me and I studied every part of each one before handing over the cash as they came to me over the past many years of living there..
