  • @joeybeck ROFL!!!!!!!!!! XD hahahaha I love the cookie monster growling hahahaha but is so fucking funny your comparison xD LMAO!!!!!!!!!!! XP

  • @thankgodfordavidG .. tuely great song .. so freakin epic ...=]

  • lol i really like to hear know-it-all-people saying isn't real *insert metal, rock or random style of music* its just *insert pop-something*... seriously who care if a band can't discribe itself correctly? For me, if a band sound good to me... they can label themselve rock, metal, disco, punk, post-modern shit, pop-neo-classical, country-reggea or whatever they can invent... i don't care as long as i like the music! And i like this music here ^^

  • Yeah they kinda grow on you

  • i liike turtleess

  • sounds like abit of new and old school i hear metal core elements and power emtal stuff like wise

  • ECHOES OF ETERNITY RULES !!!! VOCALIST IS AMAZING..........

  • @CLUMZY487 --- yep Francine Rules --- LA for once Rules --- if you like the sound then its good, they can call it what they please, I like it brother !

  • Beautiful album cover...

  • very good, beautiful song

  • listen a lot of brutal. need this melodic stuff some time.

  • holy shit this is tight!

  • you would probably like Nova orbis

  • this band is just realy tight

  • I love Echoes of Eternity's lyrics. <3

  • of they are metal, goth metal metal rock, they're what what? fuck you. cant you see every musician strives to reach their own definition, the more you group them, the more you deny the fruits thier true endeavors as musicians.

  • Good song. Its Haunting.

  • This is not gothic metal, more like proggy rock / symphonic metal. For true gothic metal, check out the early albums by Theatre of Tragedy, Tristania and Sirenia.

  • @maksphoto78 ...If Sirenia is gothic metal in your mind, then Echos of Eternity has to be gothic too. What's in your kool-aid boy?

  • it'd be cool if a chik would sing in a different accent, in english or which ever language she speaks.

  • Cookie Monster-that's a good one! I call it Orc rock (if orcs had bands) but that one works too!

  • @Vladtaltos010 amen dude. Orc/cookie-monster crap is exactly why i can only tolerate a hand full of Epica and After Forever songs even though Simone Simmons and Floor Jansen are amazing.

  • king ina nio puru kau posero

  • Someone PLEASE, PLEASE Give that STATUE a TAMPON!

  • @marcoslevels hahahaha. true :D

  • What The Hell?

  • @wickedone6669 music is nothing alike. trust me, i listen to thes ebands all the time. but whatever.

  • @wickedone6669 that makes no sense

  • @ashestoyoursoul How does that make no sense? Let me rephrase it for you, this band sounds JUST LIKE LACUNA COIL...except Lacuna Coil is better. And I listen to them all the time as well. I didn't say they were bad. Just NOT unique in anyway shape or form.

  • @wickedone6669 it makes no sense because this band has a different playing style, they have more solos and are more technical with their guitars than lacuna coil is. I think you said they were bad. I just didn't understand how you could say that they sounded like lacuna coil when they are two totally different genres. just listen to all of their songs and not just one and you will see what I mean

  • @ashestoyoursoul I don't know maybe its just her voice. I don't know what it is everytime i listen to them I think Lacuna Coil. Its not bad, not bad at all. Just most bands with female leads are starting to sound the same. They are losing their uniqueness of being female bands like this because there are so many of them.

  • @wickedone6669 yes, it's true. there are a lot of female bands that sound the same

  • @wickedone6669 correction I didn't think you said they were bad. by the way I like lacuna coil and this band

  • @wickedone6669 I think this band is unique in its own way.. and doesn't sound like LC.. i love both bands

  • nice lyrics..but the music seems smehow interrupted in between:S

  • First time I heard this band. They kick

    ass!

  • yeah, forget the labels - enjoy the music.

  • Siiting on a white sand beach, watching the beautiful sunset close to the one we love. Just as simple as that. Let the feelings flow.....

  • That's more likely gothic or symphonic metal.

  • The voice I really don't like but the guitars are so awesome in this band. I think this would be my favorite band if they had a girl with harder pipes.

  • i love gothic metal with female singers and with no cookie monster growling male singers.

  • @joeybeck then please check out my audition for dragonforce... would like to hear what you think of my voice and how you would direct it to change, be nice to have someone who gets music telling me?!

  • @joeybeck its progressive metal, not gothic metal.

  • @joeybeck

    XD

I agree with you, I also hate growls, and female voices make it sound wonerfully.

  • @joeybeck I love growls in their place, though in some artists it kinda gets in the way.

Operatic and blues voices in metal are still to me the pretty part of it

  • @joeybeck

Eh. I prefer bands that can really balance the two, à la Before the Dawn or Scar Symmetry.

But I can still appreciate a band that's not in a constant state of identity crisis; and as those go, this one is fucking fantastic. <3

  • @CuriousOnlookers Scar Symmetry was the best band ever (while they still had Christian Alvestam) but this shit is quite captivating to me. Especially the song "Voices In A Dream".

  • @joeybeck HEY! Don't knock Cookie Monster!

  • @joeybeck hahaha cookie monster :p I wanna see a metal song now with cookie monster singing ^.^

  • @Jennibot hell yea this would be awesome

  • @Jennibot Brodequin for this guy

  • @joeybeck

Plenty of bands you could listen to with male vocals that don't employ (much) growling.

Such as Charon, ...For My Pain, Type O Negative, (a personal favorite) Susperia (though they lable themselves more as goth rock then metal), Amorphis has a good list of non-growl songs, though they have a long black and death metal period going for them. But look for Amorphis - Silent Waters. Beseech, also a good band. Then there's a good few songs from Moonspell.

    Try 'm out ;)

  • @joeybeck Gothic Metal No Grows = Evanescence = Pop Rock! this isn't gothic metal, Gothic metal is a fusion between Doom/death metal and Gothic Rock 80's

  • This guitarist RIPS UP THE FRETBOARD!!!

  • OH yes. The music rocks and her voice kills. I think I'm in love. LOL!!!!

  • i love this sonng , her voice is beautifull , i LOVE IT (L)

  • I Love this band! They remind me of the really great headbanging hairbands and hard rock of the 80's, back before screaming in unintelligible babble became the fashonable way to sing. I love the ax work and the fact that their lyrics are deeper than the usual tripe that one hears these days. Ontop of this they have actual musical talent, she has a decent singing voice and is one damn fine looking BABE!

  • just sounds like gothic-power metal to me.

stop complaining and enjoy the music

  • too soft to be power metal, but u're right, just enjoy, ppl :)

  • thats why i put gothic on it :D

  • aha the reason it doesn't does like power is because their first album was a progressive metal album, there second album is labeled as power metal :D

  • @SuxxCss Sir, have you ever heard Power Metal? This is a little too 'heavy' and 'slow' to be considered Power Metal...

  • Sorry about that, Heart of Metal. Hit the wrong key. Didn't mean to. My apologies.

  • they are good but they always bring you back to the same place...they areny very progressive at all it doesnt Please my mind it isnt Capturing at all its nicethen your like...ive heard this part 8 times thats why I love prog metal.

  • This is really great. They aren't ridiculously cheesy and pointless like other bands in their "genre". The instruments are great and everything :-)

  • They are so awesome!!!!

  • I love that girl!!

  • I'm so sad that their only somewhat-hit is voices in a dream...and that was probably due to it being uploaded under nuclearblasteurope. This band deserves more recognition than almost every band I can think of!

  • yeah after all the other much better bands :) sure these are good but they arent anything special that you'd write home about

  • Honestly Voices in a Dream sucks compared to a lot of the other tracks on this record

  • @Chris641340 definantely wasnt the best

  • woo go Internet tough guy learn to spell, there are other bands out there you know. dipstick

  • This song rox!

  • wonderful!!!!

  • aw man!!!! LOVE THIS BAND already!

  • i like this band :)

  • 2nd to voices in a dream
