I am a small farmer that is concerned about these bills.

HOWEVER, Obama has NOTHING to do with this bill, not outwardly anyway.

This is a SENATE (hence the "S" in front of the numbers) sponsored bill.

It has 17 sponsors, 7 of them Republicans.

I am all for the dissemination of information, but don't LIE about the source.

The entire congress and Senate are bought and paid for by big pharma and other large corporations, both Repulicrat and Demublicans.

It's now been a year sine the Youtube nutjobs told us that HR875 would be passed within 2 weeks. Still waiting. Since I work in the organic business, I asked a few of the organic companies I represent what they thought of the bill. They all said 'it doesn't affect us'. But hey, why would organic farmers know more about it then nutjobs on Youtube?

i've read the bill willie... it depends on how they interpret the bill, but it mostly states that the bill effects those food production facilities not yet regulated - i.e. not applicable to factory farms etc - people aren't being paranoid - this is a legitimate concern.

the only people that need to register/are under regulation in this bill are "manufacturing, processing, packing or holding food for consumption" people but not farmers. I think basically if it comes in a package the company will have to register. Bakers and Wine Makers already have to register so as long as it doesn't apply to farmers I think all is good. But why is federal government regulating the sequestrants in food anyway??? Is it cheaper than all 50 states doing it seperately??
