@derek72956 Sorry, but I have to disagree. Kris was in NO WAY outclassed by Adam. Adam may have a more powerful range and be an outrageous performer but he in no way has more class then Kris. Kris is more genuine and made every performance his own and stood out from the rest with his performances and that's what sold me on him from day one! They are both amazing talents and time to let it go after 2 years. Idol hasn't been the same after season 8. :o(

This version is actually the best one I've heard. I love the song until it gets to the "I know", I know I know I know I know I know I know I know x a million .......which usually drives me nuts and I never thought that part of the song was well written but the way Kris does it, I love it! Its got creativity! He's got a great voice and he is musically talented! Much deserving of his title!

For me - this is a 'safe' songs for a competition. Safe songs means that a song that easily to be rearranged or tweak so that it become more impressive as this one. I admire Kris feels in this songs but he lose the Blues tune and making it a normal alternative rock ballad. But, i believe if this tune to be recorded again - he just needs a choir backup for the sorrow feels which suit his vocal throughout this song ...
