Obama buys 5 customers Slurpies and tips the cashier $1. Obama bought 6 votes and lost 2 by making rich guy pay $3 per stimulated Slurpie. The beer would've been $20 so the 7-11 owner isn't even happy. That's Cash-for-Clunkers. About $24,000 per stimulated car sale when you account for the cars that people were going to buy anyway without Obama's handout.

I'm still waiting for someone to give me a good answer how it helps an economy for the government to pay people NOT to work for the last $4500 toward their new ride. Economies are built from people serving their fellow man. C4C pays them to NOT serve while punishing tax payers, who DID serve and now get nothing for it. If you can afford a car bill, you can afford to wait/save for your new car without stealing money from taxpayers. You would be helping the economy by working for that money.
