  • SHOCK as a Mud Guard???

  • Did anyone else notice the flex in the rear triangle during "traction" mode?

  • why is everyone so fucking slow uphill?!

  • @xGreenRed Gravity???

  • OMG.......... that bike gave me a booner!

  • How is the title of the music? That`s wonderful.

  • so the rear axle still moves up and down like all other rear suspension bikes

  • this is the perfect bike for moab slickrock trail. exactly what you need for moab is short travel on the climbs and long travelf or the downhills. untill now there haven't been that many long travel bikes that can be adjusted to short travel.

  • hey, the lever positions are inversed

  • All high quality full sus. bikes are pretty much the same...i tried SCOTT Genius many time and its ride just as my Stumpy...Hardly there's a difference...All this is just a fancy presentation of things that have been around for a very long time...is it possible that all this companies offers a "cool & incredible new features" every month? I don't think so..

  • @aceospades1250 I ended up getting a Scott Genius 30, 2008 model. It is solid, but maybe not in the same league as the Trance, overall. I gathered from mtbr.com forums that there were distinct differences. I've had no problems with the Scott so far. Got a good deal, but won't keep it forever. Love the Ibis Mojo Carbon......nice chunk of change though.

  • i hate bikes that offer 1m stick under your ass... if you get my points,...

  • lol its all about specialized epics!!

  • can change while riding??

  • how do you think the trance X1 would compare to the genius 40 or 30? i know in theory the differences between the two suspension systems (compression vs pull) but other than that.....what?

i've read that the suspension and ride are superior on the trance (for climbs, descents, bumps) but that the fit and construction of the scott is better.

  • @canadianroot

i have the '11 trance x and it is a freakin awesome tough bike. I beat the hell out of it and it still keeps me in the saddle. i blast trails all day from jump spot to jump spot and it does great climbing and descending. i even bmx ride it with the suspension locked out in cruiser class bmx racing. though it is heavy as hell compared to bmx bikes. i can launch it off of kickers and pull ten feet off the ground and huge gaps with it even tho its not really meant for it.

  • The best bike ever!!!

  • Klasse Bike und schöne Aufnahmen ......

    Danke :-)

  • warum hat er denn den sattel so hoch bei der abfahrt? kein schnellspanner?xD

  • warum hat er denn den sattel so hoch bei der abfahrt? kein

  • What in ideal riding location, any ideas where it is?

  • I own the Genius 60 which is bottom of the Range, i have to say this is a very Impressive bike. It has improved my mountain biking skills greatly, my hill climbing ability is now god like.(it wasn't before lol) The bike is also Super fast downhill. And it all weights in less than my Hardtail bike.

  • @Spacedraptor the 60 is an amazing bike for the price.

  • @usaaok Yes your right, i'd go as far to say, the best for all round mountain biking

  • Comment removed

  • @Spacedraptor The 60 weighs less? What were you riding? I have a 2008 30 and it's solid. Not the best climber, not compared to my HT, but good enough. Perhaps I need to be better. I wouldn't trade the benefits of FS now that I've got one....especially on downhills.....where I'm taking more chances than I ever have, but I'm still sort of a pussy, lol.

  • @Spacedraptor Oh, hey Raptor, it's you! How's it going, mate? I just noticed the moniker after I posted. Cheers.

  • lol the music sounds so horny...XD

  • im pretty sure scott is owned by DT SWiss

  • Damn I find those Scott Geniuses pretty darn tempting. I've been on the fence about picking up a Genius 50 for weeks now.

  • Nice Bike...

  • I've been ridding my Genius 20 for 10 months already. Best bike I've ever owned (upgraded from a Lefty Scalpel). I ride this bike in all terrains, including downhill (did Moab last year), I even race it with impressive results. Handles and feels great. You can buy them from around US$3500 and up. Well worth every dollar.

  • cool... almost make me exchange my road bike to a mtb... almost :P

  • certainly very expensive

  • بالتأكيد مكلفة جدا

  • not bad soundtrack

  • someday baby

  • it is pricey and it better be really light for the price like fifteen lbs.

  • the last soundtrack was a popular one posted on newgrounds I can't remember how was it called!

  • i love the bike but how much do they retail for

  • 8000 you crazy at Xsports in new brunswick in a town called campbellton i got one for 2500 the genius 60 2010 with the twin lock

  • I've got the Genious mc 30 2008.

I really love it!!! Red like a ferrari!

  • me too...it's magnific!!!

  • Nice bike! but I can't afford something that probably cost at least 5k

  • i like my bike.. ;)

Never drove such a great stuff before! i build it up with my own parts as a Genius 10 XTR Competiton! Weight: 10,8Kg with pedals.

With Mavic SLR 09, Avid Juicy Carbon 180mm Disc & Ritchey WCS Carbon partsCompetiton and i payed approx. 3500 - 4500 Euro for all components.... it´s even better as the Scott limited for UVO 8800,00 Euro. Thats a non realistic pricebuisiness... nice regards Rog.

  • how much do these bikes cost? im just wondering??

  • £7999. If you buy one from Evans Cycles that is...

  • 8000 thousand dollars holy shit!! are u kidding me oh and i meant in $ not £

  • but you dont get the very top end bits for the money...........so what do you get ??/

  • Nice informative Vid, I'm test riding a Genius 40 this weekend, Finally!!!
