ok i have been using coverfx for 5 years now... you do NOT need a more yellow tone... just match your perfect colour and use it like a reg. concealer :P believe me it will cover EVERYTHING! best makeup EVER, and you really don't even need too much setting powder with it, because i've worn it all day without it coming off even without powder sometimes (although i do reccommend setting it, even if it's a light dusting) so yeah...

if the air brush makeup has alcohol in it and dries out your skin won't your skin produce more oil therefore producing more acne. Because when skin dries out is when it feels the need to produce even more oil.

Under NO circumstances is anyone supposed to sleep with makeup on for treating acne! Please do not sleep with your makeup/foundation because you will clog your pores and exacerbate the acne. It does not matter what the foundation contains, it will not treat your acne.

And green concealer cancels red. It doesn't make you look green at all...if applied properly.

I don't really get acne any more but I have leftover scars. I have a concealer but its like liquidy and i have a creamy one that's almost like lipstick but my foundation is liquid so its just get smeared. I think patting it with powder might help but how do u stop it from smearing when i'm putting on the foundation. @aznena You might want to consider getting a facial from a licensed esthetician. Get their opinion and they can steer you in the right direction. (I'm an esthetician...) Sometimes dermatologists just like to give you pills to make your face worse. You can usually take care of most acne by changing the way you treat your face. In the worse cases, you may end up going to a dermatologist and taking meds. Get a facial!

@Amerfz I guess she was talking about concealers rather than correctors (the latter are the ones that use complimentary colours). Even if you use a corrector, you still have to put something close to your skin tone over it. In that case, a yellow based product will be a lot more effective at covering a red blemish than a peachy one, which will probably emphasize the redness even more.

@MrsAyyPee If you cake anything on your face, it will cover up the blemish. But yellow is really the wrong color. Don't take my word for it. Look at a color wheel or talk to a MUA. That's why Kandee always looks so excessively yellow-toned. It's the wrong color.

@xooropa What kind of Dermatologist have you been seeing? As long as you're not bathing in it, a little bit of alcohol on oily areas is not only fine, but quite beneficial. Liquid-to-powder and airbrush makeup both contain alcohol which evaporates literally seconds after it comes into contact with your skin, setting the makeup; no harm done. Yes, you can do horrible things to your skin by going overboard, but I didn't once hear Kandee recommend smothering yourself in it.
