  • This is my bro Ted's fav! and now it is mine too :)

  • this is a great song to get drunk or high to

  • I saw Van Halen 07 and it wasnt even close to how awesome they were in 1984. The 1981 UnChained video...1 songs blows away the whole 07 show.If anyone dosent agree watch 81 UnChained then anything from 07.VH in 84 and before had HUGE energy.I was there and FELT it.Undescribable!!07 Tour= Big disipointment.I really hate to say it but it really was....Pretty Sad!!

  • @69superlead Or maybe you were 23 years older, and things just seemed lamer.

  • @mikper7 NO all one has to do is watch anything from 81-83 and compare to 07 tour. Wolfie isnt even plying, He has a backing track that he plays over. LAME!!

  • @69superlead dude...VH were still in their 20's then..they are all in their 50s now. get over it.

  • Van Hagar sucks...always will. Dave had/has what Fagar didn't--Kiss have a tune about it, it's called Charisma!

  • Charisma!! I love it!! As for that Fagar and is lovers their deafening silence is music to my ears, their all trying to hide under the rocks in shame of predicting that the Van Halen tour would not last, WRONG!!!! They just don't get it!! Right off Van Halen at your own peril!!! And the new VH album will eat up that Chickenfoot shit!!!

  • I think so too. Chickenfoot did nothing for me at all. Satch has a great overall tone on the album, but that is it. I am not a fan of their stuff. Plus, I think way too much is being made of that band.

  • You're right!! When I first heard Chickenfoot It did nothing for me!!! Everybody was saying now that Mike is free from Eddie's leash, he will shine on his own and prove what else he can do. And what did I hear, nothing that he hasn't done before, boring bass lines and predictable backing vocals.

  • I agree with your comments. I find Chickenfoot to be nothing but an over hyped band. Plus you are right: Mike didn't do anything on that album to put his mark on it.

  • I personally think Eddie's backing vocals was just as important than Mike's. Want proof? Listen to Chickenfoot. It's empty and has big spaces the siaze of the milky way!!! Replacing Eddie guitar is a no go zone, but so is his backing vocals!!!

  • Btw, it made me laugh when fans of VH would say, "It's not VH without Mike." I would reply: "It's better to have DLR back in and Mike out than it is to have Mike in with no DLR."

  • You are right on the money dude!!! I so agree with you!!! YOU ROCK!!

  • Champane97, I just dowmloaded a four cd set of old, unreleased VH tunes--all bootleg quality. The mid section of a song entitled "Young and Wild" is the exact same as the one in their "Where Have All the Good Times Gone" tune. My favourite from Diver Down, btw.

  • I gotta get that!! I get the feeling that Van Halen's unrelased material is as more powerful or better then what they have released!!! Damn what a great band!!!

  • Let me know if you want the link. Raw, young VH material. Some if it sounds like it was recorded at one of their legendary backyard parties they would play for.

  • Could you provide me with the link? Im desperate for some of that vintage stuff

  • Sure, I got it off of either Pirate Bay or Demonoid. I will get back to you.

  • when is that album supposed to come out?

  • Soon my friend, I just heard that Van Halen are rehearsing for a new tour and that they will release a DVD live concert of the last tour!! And it aint a rumour it came straight from King Eddie!!

  • Awesome!!! I can't wait!!

  • This is amazing and pure magic Van Halen!!! For those that questioned or doubted Diamond Dave's vocal ability or lyric writing.....your silence is DEAFENING!!!! Dave vocals are much underrated; its unique, original and has a signature sound, much like Eddies guitar and Alexs snare sound!! This song is very Led Zep like, but the great thing about it is it sounds like Van Halen!!!!

  • Champane97...you said it best: DEAFENING. Silence is golden, mate.

  • Thanks mate! I really hope Van Halen record this song for the new album, this has "Number 1" hit written all over it!!! VAN HALEN RULES!!!! (with Diamond Dave that is!!)

  • I agree with you, completely.

  • <33333333333this song*

  • great song it sound like eddie guitar style.

  • they where going to release this on van halen 2 but there producer thought it was too far from there sound so they never put it on the record

  • I tend to agree...I wouldn't miss this song...Uh "Woman in Love" (not the VH2 version) and "Put Out The Lights" shoulda been on VH2...IMO, of course...

  • the Women In Love Demo, Put Out The Lights, Babe, Don't Leave Me Alone and Let's Get Rockin' should ALL be on the new Van Halen album (with Diamond Dave).

All those songs are like, so amazing. A shame they werent on Van Halen 1.

  • Cool insight, Motleycrue24

  • What a beautiful song! It should've been released!

  • Even all the demo stuff is still awsome.

  • How on earth is this unreleased?????

  • dave played the guitar and sang in this song. this was one of his songs he would play under a tree in his high school parkng lot.

  • So, in this recording there is no Eddie? Just Dave playing and singing? If so, WOW! VERY COOL! I knew, of course, that he is a decent acoustic player but this is really impressive if he wrote, played this without Eddies input in any way. Awesome! Thanks for the info!!

  • dajzille: Agree, this proves he is righteous, Ice Cram man too shows the guy has skills and not just the flambouent BS. I really respect BLR and how he has approached things in the last several years. Much respect to him.

  • Amazing! I didn't expect to hear this from them. It's ridiculous this wasn't put on record.

  • very cool, i thought i heard it all. where you get this? anyone who says they dont like this, aint a vh fan and knows nothing bout real music. motherfuckers

  • you guys are trippin this is a way badass song they should of released it!!!i love the guitar

  • I think as a HUGE V H Fan its great,,, Too bad it sounds like it was recorded in the garage of their parents house.

  • man japanese tour books suck in the 70's. to much bnw and adds

  • Thank God, the producers had sense to leave this off the early records.

  • Van Halen 101 kids. This song is called Angel eyes. Roth sang this song only one time on stage. The were going to add this song to one of their early records but the producers thought it was to dirrerent of a sound fro Dave and they shelved the song.

  • ooops ment they and for

  • This is a great song.

  • This is from the mid-seventies, when Dave could actually sing!

  • this is definitely missing some drums and epic guitaring!!! it gets boring!

  • What's BGM? And judging by your tags it seems like you don't know Alex Van Halen's name.

  • It's a great ballad.

  • Uhhh, I think there's a reason this was Unreleased...

  • This ia a great song..mabey your not over the loss yet..

  • Please file this under "gay couple's break up music".

  • Somebody pass the kleenex..boo hoo..That last picture,David's chest looks like a face..mabey his face..sorta tripy..."huh"
