This game has been altered way too much from the arcade version. The simpsons were supposed to be spooked into the opening tomb in the discount cemetery. Unfortunately The whole elevator level was removed to save graphic space on the game. The elevator level was supposed to be a transition showing how the players enter moe's tavern.

Yeah, why he hasn't grey hair ? And, he is ugly, but in different, incredibly twisted way which is so terrible that it makes him almost good looking. ALMOST

that's odd, why are the 3rd stage bosses at the beginning of stage 4?

probably the elevator section was too "advanced" for the pc engine or some shit like that!

I dunno, I know only PC version. Was Sega version earlier than PC ? Probably, ...

still, I don't know why bosses setting is like it is here

nah i wouldn't know, but in the original ARCADE version, those "GOONS" would appear at the end of this "Elevator" section that LEADS to Moe's Tavern but it is blocked by these "GOONS" and so you fight them BEFORE you enter Moes! This section is just once you enter that "Grave" thingo!
