When I play as Robo-ky against my friend, I LOVE setting auto destruction. My friend then goes batshit and tries to avoid me for those 9 secs. It's so hilarious to watch him falling into my combo trap xD

note that all the full health to zero combos use full tension... and requires them to have full guard bar... which is VERY unlikely, BUT those are still some nice combos, just that you won't be WTFBBQing anyone out of the blue in a match >.>

well its not very hard to get full tension by playing Robo-Ky , but full guard bar is kinda hard . So yeah you almost can't do full hp combo

Well he is more defense type character then offense. If you wait for someone to attack first dodge it and then use combo. That way you'll be able to link more combos.

im a newbie in gg.. how do u do the flashing blue and red in your combos??

It's called Roman Cancel when it is red and False Roman cancel when blue.

roman cancels instantly cancels your move which allows you to do other moves, but it cost half a tension bar, while FRC cost 25.

Only certain moves can be FRC

Hello mate, I've been playing ggx for some time now but have only recently heard of the roman cancel; but can you tell me how to do the blue one? I mean I can do the red one with k p and s, but what do you push for the other? or is it a matter of timing?

blue one is done by having godly timing with your button presses. certain moves can be blued, but even that is difficult.

I've never pulled it off consistently, especially not in a match.

well I bought the accent core For the Wii... & its along time I Haven't play Guilty Gear Since Dreamcast...those where the good days...anyhow!... I'm pretty sure that opponents, just like one of my best friend, will not let me charge robo-ky Tension bar... and although i do some combos i cant rely on ky's abilities... in other words I have some difficulties fighting pressure type fighters such as sol-badguy, but if i connect the electric charging attacks... well then i have the overhand

You can also charge Robo Ky's tension by insta-defending AKA when you block an attack the instant it almost hits you... Robo Ky flashes in XX, Reload or Slash, but I think there's a small blue effect in Accent Core.

That's particularly useful against rushing chars, since they'll be filling your tension for free (if you know the timing, of course)
