Watch as the plane touches down, it passes two lights. They blur with the engine blur and it looks like the engines are on fire.

hi, two questions, what are those things on the wing that when you land they go up, and what are they for?
I dont know how to describe it, they just go up whenever the plane lands, and it is not the flaps, thanks, hope you know what they are

Those are called 'spoilers', which are deployed to reduce lift force and assist braking.
hmm..interesting.. 20 March ?? that's one day after i return home from Tokyo .. i departed onboard CX 509 on 19.3 ,, and onwards on CX 721 to KUL ...

Interesting to see a B767 fly into Narita? I can assume this was an arrival from Vancouver (YVR)?
