No, this is about how the FrankenCastle reviews are. People either accept it as what it is, or they want to rip off Rememder's head. For his defense on Morbius, Morbius is a failure, alrigh? I love him as much as anyone, but he does fails at life, so him being totally pitiful makes some sense. And folks, the Marvel Universe NEVER made sense. Besides, Punisher was serious to the point where it was just down right sad. I felt bad for the guy and was kinda glad to see him in something not so dark.

thunderbolts is starting to lose me. i used to look forward to issues coming out but the last couple of arcs really aren't doing it for me. i really dont care about the new team. their is no reason to give a crap about them at all. i thought maybe ant man would at least be some cool comic relief but nada. im gonna give it a couple more issues to see where they are going with it all but im gonna have to stop picking this up coz it is weak.

If remender wasn't writing this crazy punisher story I would have kicked joe quesada in the nuts for approving it. But I trust remender. Mighty avengers was an awesome issue like every issue not writen by bendis. I am excited about thunderbolts but haven't read the current issue yet.

heres my theory on what there going to do on punisher. morbius is gonna figure out some chemical to inject into dead flesh to make it alive again. healing punisher and also giving him a healing factor. lol or... its a dream... cause that comic is wacky as batshit lol... both my theorys are lame but ugh. they cant just leave pun in the state he is now!

Personally Pete, I'm starting to think that Frankencastle is Marvel's plan to find a way to de-age the Punisher while keeping his Vietnam War origin's intact.

Because let's face it, a man who is approaching 60 should not go out doing the things that Frank Castle does and it's completely reasonable that he got his ass kicked by someone like Daken.

All the while, Remender decided to just go all out and have fun with the idea. That's my theory.

The purpose of this Punisher title is to show how Frank Castle can live and survive in the mainstream Marvel universe and perhaps have a hokey Marvel adventure or two thrown in there. I applaud this title, and it's the first time in my 12+ years of reading comics that I actually am excited to see what's going to happen to Castle next.

I agree with SolidGoldCEO, The Punisher in the 616 universe has had nothing done with that's been different to much else written about him since the 70s or whatever.

Even though Frankencastle is a crazy idea (although I sort of liked it actually), its just fun and refreshing to see something that isnt something we've seen before.

So many people hate this Frankencastle stuff though, I'll admit its crazy, but I like it. The Punisher MAX is THE human Punisher, 616 should be a little fun!!

@SilviusBrabo He was black for a while, he was a assasin for heaven for a while, he was captain america for about ten minutes too. Theres been a few changes made to him over the years but they were always disasterous. If it aint broke dont fix it!

The problem with the Punisher is he really hasnt evolved much over the years. Also he kills 95% of the bad guys he goes up against so he hasnt amassed much of a rogues gallery, and he's a loner so not much of a supporting cast either. I agree that the Frankenstein thing is stupid but without resting the character I can see why some writers would get bored writing the same stuff thats been happening since the 70's.

Okay, Frank Castle was PERFECT before they did this to him. He was the best when he had no powers and was standing up to the big leagues because of his extroardinary skill and intelligence, and he was also one of Marvel's most human charcters.

I disagree, Frank Castle was getting to the point of unbelievability because he's just too old now to go out and do the things he does.

Marvel insisting that his origins remain in the Vietnam War (all the while updating Iron Man being in the Islamic world, Captain America being revived during the Clinton years etc.) has kinda screwed the character over. It's why I liked the Punisher movie that updated his origins of being a Gulf War vet.
