Makoto's perversion is his own damn fault, nobody else's. If I love someone and they have a boyfriend (I'm a guy) then sorry, I'm going for it. If she chooses me over the other guy than that's great (for me) if she doesn't, nothing has been lost. Sometimes you've gotta be a little selfish to accomplish your goals.
As for her cheating on me, I don't really know what I'd do. It'd be on the spot and circumstantial. It would depend on whether logic or emotion got the better of me there and then.
But Sekai acted horribly. One could tell that from the start of the anime she was planning on seducing Makoto. She only hooked him up with Kotohona to look "nice", then carry out her plan later. I'm not saying Makoto wasn't at fault because he clearly is but Sekai really shouldn't have hooked them together and just tried to confess to Makoto. Also, killing him was uncalled for, there were other solutions.

Honestly, if Sekai had not tried to seduce Makoto most of the bad events could have been prevented. However, if Makoto could man up and realize that he should be more loyal then he could have rejected Sekai's "lessons" from the beginning and not let his hormones control him.
