IMO alot of remakes suck, but a Day Off 2 would be cool. I remember watching an interview with Matthew Broderick and he said he would love to make a number 2 where he just skips work.. I think that would be a great idea.. as I kid watching Ferris Bueller's Day Off, I bonded with the character for skipping school.. It would be pretty awesome to apply that to my adult life and see him skip work.

I had nothing but slackjawed joy when I saw this. Grew up watching this movie religiously as a kid. I was three when it was made but watched in numerous times thanks to older siblings. Fantastic movie. Go watch it! Whether you've seen it or not.

I wouldn't be too hopeful about a Ferris sequel because quite frankly John Hughes is dead.  If he were alive and in charge of it, I'd be really happy right now. But it was still great to see this clip. I've always wondered what happened to Ferris when he got older. :)

I would love for a sequel with the original cast! Sadly, I don't know of one Director that can fill in the late John Hughes. Directors today go way overboard with whatever and think it will appeal to the audience. They need to keep it simple if they were to find a Director worth this lovable movie. Also, who knows.. if this page gets many hits you never know. SAVE FERRIS!

John Hughes approached Broderick about a sequel, and he asked to see the script first. Hughes took the attitude that why would he trouble to write the script unless he knew beforehand that Broderick was willing to take on the role. Consequently, it was never written and Hughes died, so it presumably will never be. Broderick admitted he regretted not agreeing the first time he was asked. Why wouldn't he, he thought, it's John Hughes!

If this a commercial or movie, it is very much welcomed. Talking about one of the greatest movie characters of all time. While it PROBABLY is only a commercial, i'd absolutely LOVE to see a sequel to it. Think it could be absolutely hilarious if Bueller had a son who pulled the shit he did, so he tries his hardest to catch him. Or joins in on the act lol.
