  • This show made me think the real Michelangelo was probably a good guy to have a beer with and Da Vinci was probably a prudish dickbag with a stick up his ass.

  • I did enjoy this show when I was younger. However, I'm going to say something that might not be very popular. I thought that if there was too much attention focused on Michaelangelo during an episode, he can get annoying. That situation is similiar to Michael Scott on 'The Office' and Gilligan on 'Gilligan's Island.'

  • Ohhh the cartoons in the 90's they were so fucking good, I'm really happy i got to see them as a kid. Todays cartoons are just shit.

  • _+_ Thank U

  • I just miss the old times !! F*cking Disney's crappy Hannah Montana and other stuff... DAMN YOU 2000 !!!

  • Glad im a 90's Child.

  • Shredder, Beebop & Rocksteady disliked this video

  • As my dad put it: I'm a Reagan baby,

    And a Clinton kid.

  • i'm so proud that my childhood was in 90's... best decade ever

  • Pizza power :)

  • Fuck yaaaa. 1987, bitches

  • I would always ponder, WOULD THE REAL TMNT EVER RUIN A PERFECTLY GOOD PIZZA BY THROWING IT AT THE VIEWER? Imao I really used to question this every time i saw the intro...=\

  • @xxdiezelmikexx Because they were young, wacky and unpredictable. Wacky, I tell you!

  • In CBS Stereosound, where avaliable.

  • This,spider man,xmen were ma childhood cartoons!

  • we had it all back then, man, how i miss those days!

  • I believe this was used for the second half hour of CBS episodes.

  • This is what makes me glad I was born in the 80's and grew up in the 90's. We had the best shit when it came to video games, cartoons and toys. If I could do it all over again I would and in a heart beat. I remember when the movie came out in 1990. I was 8 yrs old and my mom took us to see it in the theatres. Good times.

  • @TheRatedIX7 I agree! Those were indeed some great times! :)

  • man, we really had it all during the 80s and up until the mid 90s.......mainstream pop culture has been downhill since

  • I remember this intro when I was like 4 in '94. Great video it brings back those great Saturday morning cartoon memories

  • This show kicked your ass till diarrhea came out your dick

  • One of the best 80-90's cartoon themes ever made.

  • I was born in 1995, so I never got to really experience TMNT. It's weird though

because I've really had an urge to watch it as of late.

  • TMNT rules!

  • childhood in the 90s priceless

  • I just discovered today that Chuck Lorre (the guy who created Two And A Half Men) wrote this theme song when he worked as a musician. Pretty wild.

And yeah, I miss being a kid in the 90s.

  • THEY'RE REALLY HIP!

  • where's season 8,9 and 10 intro at

  • Just went through the grocery store with my sister and her husband wearing ninja turtle masks, introducing ourselves to strangers as Donatello, Leonardo, and Michaelangelo. We had a Raphael, but she bailed on us, haha =D

  • TMNT is my favourite cartoon or toy collection of all time.

  • TURTLES FTW !

  • ok?

  • FREDRIK ÄGER!!?

  • @MrAlexanderSjostrom vad är det med fredrik??

  • @Gawdzpwn han är bäst? :)

  • @MrAlexanderSjostrom w00t? svenskar? :D

  • @HetaliaTino Jaja klart :) Detta ägde på barnprogrammen!

  • Still classic at season 4

  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the most off-the-wall, awesome thing to ever exist.x)

  • Yay!! =) x

  • <3

  • Nostalgia says hi.

  • i have a thesis that the better cartoons you watch as a child the better person you turn out to be and things are not looking good for today's children

  • damn flashback lol

  • Damn... we got pretty cool stuff back in the late eighties/early nineties... Dinosaucers, Real Ghostbusters and TMNT... what do kids these day have? Spongebob and that iCarly crap? Next decade we'll be seeing more and more stupid things at this rate.

  • @DoctorTopper Dude, i grew with the original Dragon Ball in the nineties. And, no, no cartoon of those you're mentioning comes close to Spider-Man TAS, Dinosaucers, Batman TAS, Street Sharks or the turtles. i watch modern anime, but really, nothing comes close to older cartoons. They were good overall.

  • @DoctorTopper I know, i watch Wolverine and the X-Men, Avengers and Spectacular Spider-Man. But IMO, there's only a few things today that can compare to the stories and characters from 80s-90s animation.

  • @ColonelLarfleeze We had stupid stuff back then too! Ren and Stimpy was pretty mindless! Spongebob's not so bad, plus Tiny Tim's music just fit it perfectly, you gotta respect the fact they brought him back from the dead. . .But you're right, there's nothin' good about iCarly.

  • @Zombiefae I don't know, i pretty much consider Spongebob as the little retarded brother of Rocko's Modern Life. Sorry, i just don't like it.

And well, i kinda liked Ren and Stimpy, too bad that it's too freaking overrated.

  • @ColonelLarfleeze but..but.. Spongebob is awesome :\

  • @ColonelLarfleeze But Nick is bringing back the TMNT in fall 2012!

  • @ColonelLarfleeze i remember things like tmnt, teen titans, sccoby doo,rugrats,spongebob(1999-2004) and more awesome things idk y they even tought aboout canceling they should make a remake of most old shows

  • @ColonelLarfleeze your right with icarly but sponge bob is best and hes been around since the nineties

  • @Squiggly1999 No, it freaking sucks. Pretty much Rocko's Modern Life for 3-year olds.

  • @ColonelLarfleeze actually i like iCarly, but hate spongebob. but actually a lot of elementary schoolers think they're teenagers and teenagers think they're fully grown and stuff. but it's true and the reason is the fact that kids are starting to cuss a lot and doesn't make sense. every thing i said was off topic but oh well!

  • @ColonelLarfleeze

What's wrong with SpongeBob and iCarly? So iCarly is a bit stupid, so what. SpongeBob on the other hand is one of the better animated shows that is still on the air. It has many jokes that fly over kids' heads and is actually quite funny. Not all of today's kids shows are crap, there a few here and there that are good but I'd like to think shows we'll get better in the future, not worse.

  • @HerrWeinachten Well if showing butts more often in SPongebob is cool, count me out.... Dont get me wrong but, I think that cartoon somehow teaches kids to be dumb. I tried to watched it, barely even enjoy it though....

  • @ColonelLarfleeze : True!!

  • seasons 9 and 10 still have yet to be released on DVD, why is there a delay?

  • @nobodysperfect06 no delay, they just stopped releasing them.

  • yeah, all the episodes from the 1987 to 1994 season have been released, seasons 9 and 10 contain episodes from the 1995 and 1996 season, why did they stop releasing them? were they not making enough money?

  • Hey 80's Babies & 90's Babies? Didn't we have it made when it came to tv.

  • You know what I'd like to see? The superior animation and theme song of the 1987 series combined with the superior writing and action of 2003 series.

  • the funny thing is that when i was little i was so obsessed with this show then got older and completly forgot what the theme song sounded like, until watching robot chicken's parody of it. whats so funny is that i still don't remeber this them song, this coming from a person as a kid had the TMNT's t-shirts,action figures, and besket ball.

  • Turtles in a half-shelf; TURTLE POWER!

  • Hey you guys should check out my bands cover of this song, its on my link.

  • aaaarrrrr where is the oringanol them where thay tell you about the Tutles i can't stand it a real tmnt fan would post the vary 1st tmnt stuff to now

  • this is when mikey lost his nunchuks for a grappling hook... LAME!

  • @zeldamaster52 That move was done for European audiences. Their sensors thought at the time that nunchuku and ninja were 'adult' themed words. There logos all said Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles as well.

  • @DraftMasterJohn yeah i know. makes me wonder what the old show wouldve been like if mikey kept the nunchuks

  • @zeldamaster52 Exactly as it was in the US. See seasons 8, 9, and 10 (The Red Skies version) from the US version. It was awesome.

  • @DraftMasterJohn its like impossible to find those online though

  • @zeldamaster52 Not impssible, just improbable.

  • @zeldamaster52 Yes lame but his grappling hook is used as a chain wip which is a better weapon used by ninjas while nunchuks are awesome but not much of a ninja tool just a common martial artist weapon.

  • all named after famous renaissance artists. Too cool

  • I liked Clarke, Gordon, Paulsen and Coleman.

  • Love it! :-)

  • they're the world's most fearsome fighting team

  • 0:12 "When the evil Shredder attacks, these turtle farts don't cut 'em no slack."

  • @Pauzle Thats really what it sounds like xD

  • lol doghouse diaries.

  • agreed

  • agreed

  • The Turtles are ETERNAL!

  • FUCK YEAH!

  • im eating pizza right now xD

  • possibly the best known tv into. of the 90s behind prince of belair. seriously, who doesn't know the lyrics to these two songs?

  • @ebarshin Funny you mention fresh prince of belair. Did you know the Phil from fresh prince was the voice of shredder???

  • one of my animation teachers used to do these cartoons =)

  • licd

  • if they thought the pizza was so tasty.. why would they throw it in your face? -cowabunga.

  • Lord knows I remember this TMNT intro, I think it was on the CBS Kids tv station on Saturday mornings during the early 90s, and I used to watch the Ninja Turtles almost every weekend back then LOL

  • Cabawunga!!!

  • back in the days when cartoons were drawings, not animations

  • The day the 90's ended was also the day Saturday Morning Cartoons were killed off...

  • at least this video is better than justin beiber xD

  • I feel sorry for kids not watching good shiat

  • "...and they're green..." Nigga I want me some apple drink....its greeene!!!

  • God, watching this cartoon always makes me hungry for pizza.

  • 11 people had no childhood at all

  • They're the world's most fiercesome fighting team

  • This is the shorter version and it's still good, but the longer one needs to be uploaded. Great work however

  • From what I remember the voice who sung this was alot deeper, now when I hear it, it sounds all high pitched and whiny.

  • I was watching turtles 4ever..that movie made them waaay too goofy. :/

  • So awesome.

  • "MMMM PIZZA" *throws it at viewer*

  • Ninjaa

  • @NYPDServeProject seriously? I bet you cant listen to it without singing along.

  • i thought shredder had a pink face armor helmet

  • lol @ 0:05 splinter looks like on steriods

  • i like turtles

  • I know you can never relive your childhood but to at least I can watch this then close my eyes and picture myself as young child watching this makes me just want to cry

  • my fav was the ep with bug man. Where at first you're not sure if he can really mutate in to a bug, and then the anger makes him grow all those bug parts. I remember wishing they made a transforming toy of him like they did the other mutants.

  • @tkdyo

they DID have the bugman figurine, but he didn't grow parts. click :

    lix DOT in SLASH -958a19

  • good times!

  • God I miss being a child in the 90s.

  • @spitfirecs420 i do too, i want it back! i hate living in this shitty generation :(

  • @spitfirecs420 Don't we all?

  • @spitfirecs420 u suck :(

  • Oh i love this. Brings back memories. These where the days.. Cartoons now are just horrible.

  • Anyone want to share some "lucky charms" with me? For some reason this makes me want kids cereal...hahah...

  • wats the episode where the techno drone gets melted in the lava?

  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles debuted on Syndacate before debuting on CBS Saturday Mornings, then a live version debuted on FOX Kids, and return of the animated version (2003) debuted on FOX Box/4 Kids TV, and then that's it.

  • 8 kids born after 2001 disliked this video....GET OFF YOUTUBE NOOBS!

  • This was when they replaced Mikey's nunchuks with a bolo

  • wowww!!!

    luvly daysss, luvly memoriess

Those days cartoons were sooo clean and just the stuff for kids, unlike now even a cartoon with animals show dirty stuff!!!

  • @noorme1 Uh huh...Like what? Plus are you a soccer mom or dad?

  • @Dragzilla66 heyya i am single still a student and no soccer freak either!!!!

  • @noorme1 ok I was just asking a question.. XD

  • Weird I don't remember this

  • And now they ruined Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

  • The original show was camp at best, but then again, TMNT was kinda worse for some reason.

It's probably because i've been to Urban Outfitters too many times and have seen hipsters wearing the logo...

  • master splinter was younger here!

  • Nice Intro!

  • This is the best fucking video on the internet!

  • These are my favorite kind of Ninja Turtles

  • do they sell the old series anywhere on DVD? i love this series in the 80's one of my favs!! still is!!

  • @stmlw ur best bet would to check video stores like fye it might only have like 12 eps at a time but its better then nothing

  • tmnt lunch boxes, pencil cases, school bags, wrist watches..tmnt ruled man!

michael angelo rocks and shredder's a loser!!!

  • @hardyinc i wouldnt say that. in fact, id say most tmnt villains were pretty badass.

think about it, most of the time, one or two of these guys would take 4 ninjas to defeat

  • Hmmm....The good old days.... This was always my favourite cartoon(This and The Simpsons, but before anything it was always TMNT)... I believe I had the action figures and other stuff too... The turtles were the ish.....

  • I will always love the tmnt. I watched the show as a religion when I was little in the early nineties. I'm 25 now. I still have two episodes on tape. The case of the killer pizzas. And the one where mikes mind is put into the shredder and he wonders into the turtles lair.

  • Thank God for dvd throwbacks

  • remember the toys they had 4 them? we had all colors but we left them outside in the high grass after we were dun playing with them and my dad cut them up with the lawnmower.

  • i remember b ack in the day anythign that had ninja turtles on it i'd have to have it!

  • this show ruled my life as a kid, and made me want lots of pizza

  • you can't have a better childhood than watching this.

  • Can anyone get this theme out there head

because I still can't unless I think of something else.

  • Your either thinking about it or something else. So duh!

  • How did you get to post this? I have tried to do the same thing twice and they blocked it. I'd appreciate the help and pointers. Thanks.

  • i miss this show alot on tv

  • i grew up with this gereration ninja turtles and im 17 my older bro grew up with these ones two he 25 and he used to have all of the original ninja turtles toys and he gave them to me these were the best teenage mutant ninja turtles ever.

  • this was made when they got rid of transformers

  • @7transformer really? didnt know that

  • that was awesome

  • ahhhh the good old days where the only jagged edges you see are on shredders uniform

  • @SupremeDominator Oh jeeze, you speak the truth my friend!

  • @SupremeDominator I know what you mean man. What's up with modern cartoons making everything JAGGED and SHARP trying to copy some shitty annie-may or just making it all look OH SO EXTREME and of course purple hair. The shit's pathetic. This is where it's at.

  • @LatestUFOSightings You know, it's not like this show was exactly high art. The 2003 series was superior in retrospect.

  • @psyckid008 Uh, no. Get out of here and go do your homework.

  • @alamedastreet I take it you have never watched the newer series.
