I have had the pleasure of singing this motet one-on-a-part (I was the countertenor), doubled by viols. When we got to "und weinet über ihn" (3:00 in this rendition) there was an audible gasp from the audience.
Prachtig gezongen, maar het mag van mij wel wat bijtender - het is geen romantiek of zo. (We doen dit wel eens in Boxmeer maar het is eigenlijk te moeilijk voor ons.)
