  • Well thanks for all your help in this! I just looked it up on google and got it, and van you see if you can do a film of the old west? That would be interesting.

  • @legobondhead, how do I enter bricks in motion? (of course in September)

  • @Aleczandi Bricks in motion is a website, although I don't think they are going to hold this competition any more. They do other good ones though.

  • @legoheadbond oh man, i guess i will just enter in 2013, can you give me the link?

  • @Aleczandi It's just bricksinmotion (dot) com. Then go to competitions and see what one you like. :)

  • It was great! Where is the music from? It would go perfect with my brickfilm I'm making! Congratz on 2nd!

  • @Aleczandi Thanks, the music was from incompetech (dot) com.

  • you derserve more views

  • awesome, the rain idear was really clever :)

  • i think spraying the set with water was a good idea

  • You know you could just do a rain effect you don't have to spray water on the set.

  • @ferrarienzo564 Yes, I do know that. I thought that using real water might look good though, different to everyone else.

  • @legoheadbond I loved the real water! It was cool!

  • what software did u use?

  • @TheMariofans I used SMA (stop motion animator) and Sony Vegas to edit.

  • Nice rain how did u do it?

  • waou!!!

  • u used motion blur! smart

  • @wolfgar45 I did? If you mean the man running at the start, and the cars passing, that wasn't actually any kind of effect. It came out like that when I exported it, and I thought it looked pretty cool, so kept it. ;)

  • OMG! That rain effect must have taken ages to film, even filming regualar movies at that high frame rate is hard. Great job.

  • WAAAAAY better than EmmaExecute's entry!

  • I loved the rain effect! How did you do it?

  • @PenguinBoyFilms It's quite simple, but hard to get right. Basically I had a water sprayer (its one of those gardening ones) and for each frame I squirted on a bit more water. I had tissue for when a little pool formed at the bottom, I used the tissue to dab it up a bit. I also blew the water droplets to make it look like the water was dripping. If you want to try it though be very careful with your equipment, I accidentally got water all on my plugs (luckily I wasn't electrocuted!!)! ;P

  • @legoheadbond Thanks a lot, I'll have to try that some day.

  • Really Smooth animation!

  • I liked it.

  • I really liked this. Way better than mine. (check mine out by the way, i need opinions for my first attempt at stop motion.) I think the fact that you made it rain made the movie much more interesting. This video is way too good for only 2,000 views.

  • awesome this rocks awesome effects looks so realistic and cool rain and stuff and i am so favoriting this subscribe

  • This was extremely smooth and original. The rain effect was great and realistic and the whole video was amazing. You should continue animations and soon you'll be a partner.

  • congratulations on getting in second!

  • i think this would have won ur very very good

  • Cool vid!

  • amazing

  • the was so good and pretty funny

  • Pretty damn good.

  • Like the water effect, but it might be a teensy bit too intense. A drain would be epic.

  • Very good. I loved it.

  • First place, it must have been really hard to animate with all that rain! Very mysterious, though I have seen allot of bunnies coming out of hats recently... 5/5!!!

  • That was awesome. Sweet rain effet, great animation, even though it was too fast at parts. You clearly got the idea from mindgame, but it's still a great story. I liked it a lot!

  • This deserves to win!

  • incredibly smooth, nice concept. Although, what was the man looking for in the box? Shelter? Awesome though, dude.

  • @splodgepictures Thanks. He just saw the box, and wanted to know why it had been left there.

  • very smooth, amazing! you just earned yourself a subscription!!

  • animation is so smooth!!

  • also, how did you do the water on all the lego? i made a raining test (check it out and tell me what you think :D) and i just added a layer of rain, no real water...

  • @bramlvx Oh yes, I saw that on BiM. Not bad, the rain looks pretty good. Maybe try to make some ripples, I've tried Sqirlz water effects too, and I think you can make some good ripples.

For this particular film I sprayed water onto my set using one of those spray containers you get from a garden shop. Just be careful with your camera!

  • verry good! i think you have a chance of winning!

  • kind of reminds me of zachmg's the magician

  • @legomanh Yeah, a bit. I actually had this idea ages ago, before ZachMG made his, just only now got round to making it.

    =)

  • Your very best work!

  • Nice
